Ordered threw the app. Never got a confirmation that order was confirmed Went to the restaurant to pick it up and was told they never received the order. They had us wait and again said the order did not come threw so I would not be charged for it. 2 hrs. later I find out they charged me for it. And just checked the recent orders in the app and it says I have no recent orders at all
I can’t comment on the food, because I never got a chance to order. I pulled into the drive thru at 11:50 PM with all of the restaurant lights on including the menu where you order. I sat there for 2 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, nothing. I then called the restaurant, no answer. I pulled up to the order window and saw two employees standing there. I asked if they were open. The person at the register replied “we closed at 11:45.” Please shut your lights off at 11:45 so myself and others will not be inconvenienced by pulling into the drive thru of a closed restaurant.
This is the friendliest Steak n Shake I’ve ever been to. We passed through here on a road trip and they were fast as well. Since we asked for a water cup for our dog (we forgot her travel bottle), they offered us a pup cup too. Just pleasant and the food was great. I’m not a tough reviewer on quick service restaurants, but I do like to mention especially good locations.
We had Oreo milkshakes and a burger. The food was great and the customer service was even better. We were given a milkshake in a hot glass and it totally melted the shake. We asked for a new one and they replaced it very quickly! We will be back soon for more shakes and fries!
My husband and I have recently visited this Georgetown location twice. Both times, the staff have been very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant was clean, the food was made to our specific order, and ready fast.
Came through the drive-through for a late night snack of a shake. The employees were super nice. Lots of options for shakes here. You can get a regular shake or a supreme shake with things like Butterfinger Oreo and cookies and cream. When I got to the payment window I saw that I had my pup in the car and they offered a cup of whip cream for her. She was delighted.
Don't like the new kiosk and pick up your own food, so that they don't have to pay waitresses. It makes it more frustrating when the manager, who doesn't speak English has not been trained on the kiosk. The burger meat has been changed and not even compatible to the old meat.
Kiosk makes it quick and easy to order. Sometimes I think it messes up. I know it I chose not to have an item one it but one the receipt it says I didn't. Besides that it makes ordering nice, them you have access to the drinks so you don't have to wait for a server for refills.
Very hot food and the cheeseburger had crispy lettuce,onion and pickles and a nice red tomato, fresh hot fries, loved it!!!
Ordered a chili cheese dog. They charged extra, that's cool it was a special order but they told me they could make it happen. Got a disgusting looking dog on a stale bun with a little chilli juice on it. Aweful. Burgers were sub par from what they used to be. Only good thing about our meal was the fries. Also, nobody seems to know how to enter info for rewards card. I'll not be back for a while.
