One of the worst Big boy’s I’ve been to. Went for the Friday seafood bar with my wife. Got seated our waiter brought us our drinks, and that was the last time we seen him for the entire dinner. The food was old on the bar for most of our time there. Had to get a girl that was trying to stock the bar to get me a refill. Still no waiter for us. We was done ready to go and still no receipt. Had to get up and wait at the front. Then a random waiter gave us a check at the front and said “sorry didn’t know if your waiter told you but he went on lunch”. They had 10-15 workers in there and most was standing around. If I could give it a zero star I would. Don’t waste your time here.
good food and good experience
I had eaten here until recently & was very disappointed. I got the salad bar even though I felt 11.99 was too much to pay for such a small salad bar. I went to make my plate & saw nothing but lifeless lettuce that looked like it had been out for hours. I asked & they got more, it only looked slightly better. It also looked like they combined two different types of lettuce they were low on, spring mix & traditional lettuce. The strangest part was thar the thousand island had zero flavor. The options were lacking for the price they were charging. I do think they make the best chocolate milkshake around!
Waiter was great. Bacon cheeseburger ok..fries good. Son's fish & chips... not so good. Fish was not battered in the kitchen...pre made, flat and strange crumb coating. No malt vinegar, either. Definitely not 'OLD SCHOOL'. BOB'S BIG BOY
Breakfast buffet was fully stocked and watched over. Tables were clean, the bathroom was as well. Our waitress didn't stop by too much but over all it was a great breakfast. Would definitely eat there again
Well it started off with dirty silverware. When the waitress was asked for a clean fork she commented, " We just wanted to share that person's meal with you too." Sorry but not funny. Never asked for refills and waited at table for 45 min for a to go box and the check. The food was greasy and barely warm. Haven't ate there in a long time, now I remember why. Won't be back.
My family dined in and the ketchup bottle exploded on everyone at the table. The manager apologized and said he would pay for dry cleaning of our clothing and gave us free dessert. That was appropriate but then he said that it has happened to others before and I suggested he take away all of the ketchup bottles from the tables and he just smirked. If I were the manager I would report this to the food supplier, removed all of the ketchup bottles and replaced with dipable ketchup on the salad bar. I will return but I will bring my own ketchup!
We were craving a Big Boy Burger. Came to Frankfort and we’re not disappointed! Lightning fast service and food came quickly too. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. Exceed expectations today!
As years pass, I find my self not a fan of Frisch's like I was when I was a child. My other half was in the mood for trash burger (Big Boy) so we stopped as nothing else appealed to me. I got a double bad boy. The burger was great and French fries really hit the spot. The staff was friendly and service was great.
This was my first time going with my mom. I will have to say that our experience thru the drive thru was not the greatest, the burger was small and the meat was dry, there was no mayonnaise on it like I asked, the turkey sandwich is super small, the onion rings were not great, even the prices are ridiculously high for the portions of the food you get. I will not be returning to this location let alone any big boy locations here in KY because the prices are ridiculous. If I wanted to have a dry burger and stuff then I could go to Culver’s
