This restaurant surprised us. Expecting a meat eaters only style steak place but had much more. Wife was in mood for something lighter and went to salad bar. Was delighted with the options. My Angus burger was very tasty and filled without overstuffed. Casual atmosphere with attentive but not overbearing waitress. Would definitely recommend.
1st time at this particular location and I must say it's ALOT better than the others we've visited. We ordered the Bone In Ribeye, it was Very flavorable and had that good char taste to it.Service was Great. Only had to wait about 10 mins or so for seating. Normally, we visit the location in Georgetown and ask to sit in Darren's section. He's the BEST server. Knowing that he's now a manager at the Frankfort location , we will visit that location more often. He's Awesone!!
Good food and great service from Wendy. Salad bar is pretty solid; fresh greens and the broccoli salad is well prepared. The country fried steak special was very tasty. The spicy boneless wings in the appetizer were not kidding around either. Country Boy on tap for the win as well. The steak is better than most and prepared as requested, but I expect that from Cattleman's...
Our waiter, Wayne(?) was very attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was our first time to Cattleman’s and we were very pleased with the steaks; absolutely perfect! Salad bar was awesome too. My drink from the bar, recommended by Wayne was delicious and we will absolutely be back on our next trip to Cattleman’s! Told everyone about y’all!
The food wasn't bad but the service at the bar was terrible. I was there twice and it took FOREVER to even get noticed. The first time, there were 2 bartenders and neither of them were good.
The salad bar was great and the loaded baked sweet potato!! I ordered the Monday night special (6oz sirloin, with one side and salad bar). I ordered my steak Medium it came out rare on the inside and well done on the outside with no flavor. I never use steak sauce, but had to this time just for flavor!!
First time here. Food was great and salad bar had many selections. Lighting is very dim so menus were hard to read. Setting and mood was nice with enough room for a party of six. Even at noon lunch there was not much wait.
Told the hostess we would be in the bar area while waiting on a table for dinner. She said she would let us know when table was available. We ordered drinks at the bar and Jemma (she was great) waited on us. We noticed she was taking care of drink orders for the bar and full restaurant. She didn’t seem to have anyone to bus the bar area. She also seemed to have to pick up and deliver food orders at the bar and try to squeeze in washing the glasses. She was very efficient and pleasant even though she was totally on her own. Get this girl some backup help. After quite a wait and no call for us for dinner my husband went to hostess stand to inquire when our table would be ready and she said we had been called but no one responded. The bar area wasn’t loud so we would have heard if we’d been called. Got to table and placed order. Waitress was good, sorry don’t remember her name. She apparently also had to bus her own tables. Husband had chicken fried steak which was good but white gravy was bland. I had salad bar which I enjoyed.
The service at the bar was excellent! The salad bar and steak were great! This would be a 5 star place if not for the men's restroom. Luckily I went on the way out or would have lost my appetite. Disgusting is a nice word for it.
Food was good and flavorful, we got there a hour before closing and the staff was very helpful and professional need missed and beat on service and ingageing
