First time visit today was extremely disappointing. We opted for the daily special, two chicken enchiladas. There was no chicken in it, few strands of shredded chicken. It was full of onions and peppers. I saw something black after I got a refill. Upon inspection there was something black frozen within the ice cube ?. I immediately gave it to staff which he didn’t seem to care. He stood there trying to scratch it out. I then told him about the enchiladas and showed him all of it going in the trash. Again, he didn’t care. Told him we wouldn’t be back. Regret going there but lesson learned. We had to go somewhere else since we couldn’t eat it. I didn’t think there could be a worse place than Taco Bell, but here it is—Alfonso’s!! Don’t waste your time or money on this garbage!
Quality & quantityThere's a large list of menu options. Some are a little crazy but it's all good.I generally keep things simple so I order the Kentucky Burrito. Rice, chicken, & cheese. You can't go wrong with that and you could use it as a paperweight. I regularly have leftovers.Very polite staff and quick service.
Even though my moms food came out wrong she still ate It and it was amazing. The food was done in what felt like 2 minutes. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would I absolutely loved going to Alfonso'. If you haven't tried it yet you should. If you want a place where it can be pretty much just your family you should go. I would give this 10 stars if I could!!

Crazy good taste. Fish tacos were awesome. Rice and beans had great flavor which is unusual for Mexican restaurants around here. Real hot sauce too.
Forget all of the Mexican restaurant noise in Frankfort and enjoy true flavor. The carne asada tacos are absolutely amazing and hands down best crispy taco shells anywhere, seriously. So much more variety beyond what you're used to.
OMG! My sister has been telling me to stop by Alfonso's... WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN! Best Mexican food in FRANKFORT! No contest... I got the shrimp fajita platter and a bean and cheese burrito... I couldn't finish either! Sooo much food! Great food, great service, great prices!!!
You'll try one burrito. Then another. Then another. I have had a few of them and so far every burrito has been great. I'll probably look at the rest of the menu once I have the burritos conquered. It may take a few minutes for your order, but that's because it's made to order.
Alfonso's taco shop is amazing! The breakfast burritos are huge, and enough to fill anyone up... They are huge where you can eat half and give the other half to a friend! If you watch their Facebook specials they will have buy 1 get another 1/2 off....And their fish tacos were just as delicious!
Love the place and very nice ppl. And got to definitely say you get your money worths when u order so be ready to eat like a king.
