We discovered this place long ago with an Entertainment coupon and have been faithful customers ever since. We even live across the river. It’s a great little family restaurant with the best lasagna, meatballs and spaghetti sauce. The family also loves the pizza and salad with their homemade Italian dressing. The chains have nothing over this little hidden gem. Service is also A +!!
Pizza isn't good. Very bland. I've had frozen pizza slightly better.Very disappointing... that 4.4 score must be on other items. Stay away from the pizza.I didn't look at the reviews... I'm not the only one saying that the pizza isn't good.This is actually on me for not reading the reviews prior to ordering.
Staying at a hotel in nearby Erlanger. We saw the pictures and reviews and decided it looked like a good calculated risk.WOW! That was good pizza. Not my favorite of all time, but hands down better than any of the chain pies. Not greasy and generous, delicious toppings.Well done, y’all!
Been eating here for 15 years had nothing but great pizza and great experiences every time. This time I ordered a XL pizza with pepperoni and the cheese on the pepperoni was just bad and tasted off. When I called up their with my concern they told me that “this has been our recipe for 30 years and theirs nothing I can do about it” absolutely rude and disrespectful. I told her I would bring up the pizza so they can see it and she reiterated that their is nothing that they can do. I will never be back again.
Not the food I remember. Will not go back. Thank you for responding to my text. The hoagie I had was not as I remember. It barely had any pizza sauce on it maybe a pickle or two. No garlic butter on the bun. It was very bland. Not the same quality. Tom Papa Dino's was the best when I was in high school back in the 70s. The recipe may be the same but how it's put together is not.
The prices are in line or lower than the chain restaurants but even better, the quality of the food is as good as or better than ever. Have been going over 50 years. The Italian salad with chicken and dumpling soup lunch special was amazing! The hot ham and cheese hoagie was loaded with ham and melty cheese. Also, the sole waiter was friendly and efficient, despite being host, bus boy, counter person in addition to server. Kudos!
We had the hoagies..the hot ham and cheese and the royal...they were probably the best hoagies we've had.
Great pizza and hoagies. Very busy place. Totally worth it!
The pizza is good especially the crust has a good flavor to it which most pizza crusts don't even have flavor.I also love the sauce and cheese.I do have one complaint, but it's a pretty big one. We had to pick off lots of black burnt pieces from the bottom of the crust. If you don't, the slice is inedible. What is that?
