Expensive compared to others. Luke warm food. Slow service during slow time. Veggie fajitas - few tomatoes, few green peppers, tons of onions. Salsa was good. Should have been individual little bowls for each customer.
Really good hidden gem. Highly recommend!
Discovered this place a while ago, when I first moved here last May from WI . I was looking for a Mexican restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Brought my grandparents here today , they traveled from TN. Once again I was very satisfied and they enjoyed the food. The tacos de chivo are my favorite. I always looks for a place with good menudo, not everyone makes it the same and it doesn’t disappoint. And the staff is very friendly and provides great customer service!
I ordered the burrito Guerrero. Wonderful and was huge! Enough for two meals. Flan for dessert and I have to say I was surprised at the awesome flavor. Best I've had! Little bit of a language barrier but we got through that. Highly recommend.
HORRIBLE! Years ago this restaurant was a shining example of what home cooked Mexican quesine should taste like. With a family owned atmosphere and a smile accompanied by a warm welcome when you entered. Not these days. The service was awful, the food under cooked and over spiced. We had to send my finances plate back to be heated up and it was only lukewarm a bite into her burrito. My fajitas trio was over burdened with spices and under supported with a teaspoon of sour cream and a half of a portion of rice. I'm not even going to elaborate on the servers ?. And for $43.00 (counting the $3 tip) for 2 meals.... Should have went to Taco Bell.
Food was old, dried out and I will not return. Preparation and food quality was poor. We went for a takeout order at the start of a Saturday night service (5:45pm) when no other customers were yet seated. A 15 minute order quote took 35 minutes. I chose this restaurant for their tamales, but 10 minutes after the order was placed I was told they were out of. Ok. Got two different chicken enchiladas and both contained CRUNCHY, dried small pieces of chicken. The sauces- ranchera and green tomatillo were good. Three of the 4 orders were wrong. I paid $16.95 for a combo steak and shrimp fajitas that contained no shrimp. The fajita peppers tomatoes and onions were so over cooked they looked like the brown steak strips. Even the yellow rice was dried out and old as if it had been sitting since lunch. My tamale substitute- empanadas, turned out to also contain dried, crunchy chicken bits in a grease saturated thick dough, like no empanadas I have ever tasted. I would have returned the whole meal had we not already gotten home 1 hr and 15 minutes after we went up for a “quick” dinner that I wanted to try the tamales. Almost half of the $73 meal for four went in the trash. It has been a very long time since I have had a meal with such poor quality preparation and quality. Will NEVER be back. They got two stars for their sauces and guacamole.
Food was dry, no flavor, chewy, bad texture, sloppy, and no organization. Plus the loud music in which you can’t even hear what your saying. Food was mid asf ??. Don’t waste your time telling them not to put something, because they practically ignore it
Do not even think about going here. You're better off waiting 2 hours to eat anywhere else.
These tacos are the best I've tried all of them. The service is fast and this establishment is clean and convenient for me and my co-workers.stop by and enjoy real Latina food ?
Who was so so and the waiters and service could not speak good English thought they had just come across the border from Mexico
