Basically, this store is "staffed" by mostly high schoolers. I used quotes on staffed because for dinner service there is literally no more than two people inside working on any given night. It isn't their fault, we all know the state of staffing post-covid. However, it's frustrating for customers that HQ is doing nothing to help out their employees. It's a really nice little location but they close over 2 hours early (supposed to be open till 1 a.m.) because they don't have the adequate staff. I don't see why they don't just close at like 9 p.m. or HQ do their job and staff the store with employees from other areas. Avoid because you'll just be disappointed.
Seems like its a roll of the dice whether this place opens or not. I went thru the drive thru on a Sunday at noon and was told they were only filling Door Dash orders. There were 5 employee cars in the parking lot and I could visibly see two at the drive thru window and two sitting in the dining room doing nothing. I would say time for new management.
Came here a little after midnight late Saturday on 5/21. Was told at the DT they weren’t open. Supposed to be open until 2am. Between this TB and the one at Dixie and Turfway, it’s less than half the time they’re actually open when their hours say they are.I’ll spend my money at stores that actually care to be open when they’re supposed to. Service here is becoming a joke. I’ve worked at Taco Bell in the past, it’s not that hard.
Waited at the drive thru 35-40 minutes. I had a fairly simple order. A 12 pack of tacos and a burrito supreme. The tacos weren't what I ordered. They stuffed the burrito in the box with the tacos. When I asked for mild sauce, he grabbed a handful and handed them out the window. What a mess. Worst food and service at any Taco Bell I've been to.
The food was fine but the gentleman in the drive thru window was not friendly at all. He very weirdly stared at us each time we were trying to be nice and talk to him.
We ordered 2 vegetarian burritos with rice, beans and cheese and one beef burrito supreme. We received 3 burritos with no marking to indicate what was what. The girl at the window advised we would have to open them to see what they were. Problem is, they all looked the same inside. No rice in any of them. No beef that one could discern, either by appearance or taste. When I went back to the window to request napkins, pointing out the sloppy mess all over the outside of one of the wrappers, the boy handed me a stack of napkins 4" thick.
We went through drive thru for breakfast at 9:05 when they open at 9. We sat there with no reply intil we were rudely told 10 minutes later that they were not opening because the manager didnt want to with only her and one other person. If the customer is always supposed to be happy it doesn't matter if you don't feel you have enough staff. The sign said open.
Food wasnt the best. definitely not how it was supposed to be made. Missing ingredients. My cheesey gordita crunch had the shell stuck to the paper! Completely ripped it up trying to get it off the paper and no spicy sauce was on it. Beefy 5layer was only meat beans and cheese with a stale tortilla.
I'm changing my review from 1 star to 2 stars. After messing my order up over, and over, and over, they got it right the last 3/4 times, even when I came late. I rotate between which taco bells I'll even try but the quality at them all seem like a roll of the dice. I hope they continue to improve upon accuracy!
Only went there once - they forgot some food items but it was still good. This was in like July 2018 - So I'm sure it's changed since then.
