Ordered a chilli mac and got a 2 way. I called and spoke to a manager and she said " oh our chilli mac is noodles and chilli". If that was the case why did they give me a spoon to eat it with. Then I got the garlic burger and it had half inch of the garlic mix on the bun. Picture 1 is the so called chilli mac with the spoon and 2 is what I scraped off the top of my bun. We stopped eating there before because of this kinda service we came back because the new owner said that this wouldn't happen again. He made this comment when he came to our business to tell us this. I truly believe he probably don't know this is going on. Chilli mac is supposed to have elbow macaroni in it.
Returned to s&s after their reopening, they had been closed for a couple years.On entering, was met with two large kiosks. Waited for someone to explain, but no one acknowledged our presence.We finally decided we were to order from the kiosks.After five minutes of trying to order[and they wanted payment at kiosk] the order taken was not the order we wanted, plus it would not accept our credit card!We tried to get an employee to help, but was ignored.After 10 minutes of this, we left.It was a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm and only 2 people in restaurant.This reopening will soon be another quick closure.A long time Steak and Shake customer!!!
Unsure of their hours. We got there at like 8:50pm, and they locked the doors at 9:00pm. There was no sign on the door saying they are closing earlier then 12:00am. They seem to just close down at random hours each day which is frustrating.
I was in the area so decided for something quick and preferably a burger. The drive thru was quick as well as a friendly order taker. The BBQ western burger was good, could use crispier bacon. It was packaged nicely in its own box and they finally have their own ranch containers. Quick and delicious experience!
Having been a regular at this location through the years, I was accustom to the mediocre service and food. It was more of a convenience. Then The pandemic started and the location closed.Since reopening, major changes have obviously occurred. I actually prefer the new ordering system and the self serve aspect of seating and drinks, and the food…hot, fresh, and fast. Literally like night and day difference between the old and the new.The new leadership and staff are awesome and you can sense that the people that work there want to work there as it shows in the product and experience.Great job, Steak ‘N Shake!
We went through the drive-thru and our order was ready almost as soon as we pulled to the checkout. My son enjoyed the hamburger so much, we went through the drive-thru again for a second one for him. Everything was hot and delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend this steak and shake.

Love love love the new way of doing business!! No more more servers that are overwhelmed. So, no more bad service. You order at a kiosk, find a table, get your own drink, pick up your food when it's ready.It's so much quieter and stress free. Get your own refills
Terrible and rude service. Don’t go here. Employee wouldn’t give us correct price for shake that she made us wait too long for.
Food was good and hot and it came out quickly. It was a good fast lunch. Staff did a nice job.
