Top notch sushi here. Some of the best I've ever had and at a phenomenal price. I will go many many miles out of my way to go to this place again...
I was fairly disappointed by this experience. Our server seemed new and inexperienced, but there wasn’t many people but it still took forever for us to get service and to be helped. There had to have been one cook in the back because our food took about 40-50 minutes to come out after being put in to order. But honestly all of this could have easily have been overlooked if the food wasn’t the smallest portion for the highest prices. I expected to spend quite a lot of money for a fancy sit down restaurant but the interior didn’t even look posh but more on par with any other restaurant, but with the prices of a high end restaurant.I honestly have to say the most upsetting part of all this was definitely the small amount of food. It was 10.50 for an appetizer with fish sashimi, and it was 6 slices of fluke the size of my pinkie and so thin it was see through. We paid 6.50 for a 5in square of Mackerel that was way too salty. And we were excited about the sushi A dinner meal thinking we could share it and it was a few pieces of nigiri with a small amount of rice and 6 pieces of a roll that were about the size of my thumb nail each. The dinner came with a small bowl of miso soup and a ginger salad. The salad had just a few pieces of romaine and one tomato with some ginger dressing, not exactly high quality. That meal was 20 dollars. Then the takoyaki was cool but about 9 dollars for 6 small cherry sized pancake balls.If we had been given even a little more food we probably would have ordered more just to enjoy but it was so frustrating how long it all took and how small it was that we just left and got food elsewhere.
The food was okay but they always took too long. It took over an hour for just one Ramen and Pork cutlets. The restaurant was not even crowded, only 4 tables including us. Looks like they only have one chef. We won’t be coming back. So disappointed. ?
Always love the home feel at this restaurant! If you want authentic Japanese foods, this is the place!
the sushi and sashimi is good. love the ramen, broth is just nice, not too salty. service was good too.
What a hidden gem of a place! Authentic Japanese experience and good sake. We had a variety of classic appetizers and the chef’s choice sushi dinner and it was excellent.

Probably the best Japanese restaurant I've been to in around KY and OH. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and made traditionally. The noodle bowls of udon and ramen are tasty, natural flavors and I think without MSG. Price is fair and affordable. The waitress was super considerate and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.
Good local sushi. Service is bar none. They are very helpful and nice. It's well priced for the quality
Very authentic and good Japanese food, I had several Japanese friends in college and this is the place they recommended the most, hadn't gone there since the pandemic started but it was nice to get some of their great food again. The waitress did bring us the wrong appetizer (ordered tofu and got chicken) but everything else was great. Despite the hiccup, would definitely go there again.
