The Rockefeller with blue cheese is soo good and they have the best onion rings around! The onion rings are the perfect crunch with soft fresh tasting onions. I've gotten them multiple times and they are very consistent. My one complaint was the only reason we knew the place was open was a Google search. The building itself self looks abandoned on the outside and we nearly drove right past it despite using the GPS. The outside of the building is severely unkempt. There are massive weeds growing up around the building. I think they'd get a lot more business if they actually looked open. If we had just driven past we would have assumed it was a vacant lot. We were actually hesitant to try the food as we pulled up and saw the state of the building from the outside. The food is good but no one would know by the appearance. Needs some TLC but definitely worth the try!
I found this on Google. I am staying at a nearby hotel. I pulled in and wondered if they were open. I love hole in the walls but I was shocked and the bad reviews have no reflection of this place. I walked in and it looked great. Sign said new owners. Staff was friendly and ordering was easy and food was quick. It was the best I have had since I was young. It was amazing. The place was very clean and I dined in and it was a great experience.
A Top Ten burger! It was still piping hot halfway through the meal. Best burger I've had near Cincinnati, no question.
We went on the way home. We are from out of town so we didn’t know what places were good. Stopped here and don’t regret it! We were greeted by friendly staff right as we walked in. Ordered our food and sat down and very soon after our food was brought to our table. Burger was really good. Bacon was good. Onions weren't great but that’s okay. Fries and cheese sauce were *chef’s kiss*. My boyfriend got the shrooms burger and loved it. Definitely recommend!
So glad this place reopened. I used to live in Covington and went to the Newport location all the time. Moved to Florence and sad the building but it was sadly closed. Got to stop by this one today and it was so good. Fresh fries, great burger. Please stop by this place and support them! Ignore the older reviews, all of the new reviews under the new owner are fantastic. Thank you for the great food & service!
Came from out of town with my family and really enjoyed the food DONT let the outside fool you! The burgers were cooked to order fresh I had the Goliath huge!! The onion rings were better than the fries but o do love they have real cheese sauce for the fries!! They accommodated my children orders and were SUPER SWEET even brought our food to us as we sat at the tables waiting!! A MUST TRY ❤️
I had the pleasure of visiting the newly reopened Mad Mike’s and WOW! It was DELIGHTFUL. First off, I placed the order online and it was estimated to be ready in 15-25 minutes. It was ready in less than 10! And as soon as we walked in the door, we were cheerfully greeted by the super sweet woman at the register and she had our order ready and waiting. The cooks/staff from the back even came up front to greet us! Additionally because we were in scrubs, they let us know they offer discounts to healthcare workers if we call or place our order in person. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!
Went yesterday on my lunch break and the service was FANTASTIC! we ordered ahead online and the good was ready very fast and when we got it, it was still very hot! Super friendly staff and amazing food! Thank you! Will be frequently flyer there lol
I just wanted to let you guys know that the Rockefeller burger is the absolute best thing I have ever put into my mouth! Awful service. 2-3 months ago. Who are these guys, the Uncle's kid's? Chilling talking on cell phones. "Aye yo one sec" proceeds to answer cell phone. I had a pick up order paid for ahead of time. And I was a few mins late on the pick up. The food wasn't ready but looked like all the making had been sitting out since the morning.This place was filthy with flys and an awful looking property. You wanna pop a tire pull in at 7 mph.If you want some Mad Mike's, don't play yourself drive the extra few miles to Newport to the real location
