There was an hour wait, so we opted to eat at the bar. The service was good, the space was crowded. When I went to the restroom, I noticed more than half the tables were empty, so I guessed the wait time was due to staffing issues.The food came out quick, it was hot a delicious. The bartender was witty, and working hard, due to couples opting to eat at the bar. Over all experience was great. The waiting area stayed packed the entire time I was there.
Fantastic dinner!But asparagus was over cooked and tough to cut in half with a knife or tear with your teeth.
The service was very good . Fast and friendly. The steak was hot and cooked to perfection until I took my first bite. It was so overly seasoned I litterly could not eat it. Even though I did not enjoy it I am sure or two little fur babies will. It was our first time there and it will be our last.
We visited last weekend and I had tried to do call ahead seating. The site indicated there was no wait, which I found surprising for a Saturday. Once we arrived to check in, the hostess said there was a 30 minute wait. This was so irritating, and I feel they should have used call ahead to coordinate the customer crowd more efficiently. We waited around 40 minutes then I checked with the hostess on our status. She said they had already paged me then proceeded to seat us. I did not receive a text or message alerting us that our table was ready. I give them 3 stars due to the fantastic service staff. The food was perfect as well. As a routine customer, I advise that they work on the call ahead system to make the wait more efficient.
Arrived at Lafayette restaurant called to see wait time told 15 minute's had to put name online wait list then they will call waited 15 minute's no call watched the wait list it said we're next for 30 minutes called restaurant she told us we had to go in and put our names on the list so get on the same page
Okay so I love steak more than any other meat.. let me tell you when I say this has been the best steak I've gotten to go is a understatement. It was still hot and juicy and it was fully cooked all the way through.The cooks need a raise. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much longhorns.
Wait staff was attentive and friendly.Food was delicious. Got the flo filet medium rare. The chef nailed it.Ordered an old fashioned... Turned out to be way too strong for me..next time I'll try a margarita instead.
Although I’m still bitter about them discontinuing the Texas Chili Cheese Fries, I’ve decided that Longhorn has the best steaks, at a chain, in NKY. Texas Roadhouse does something to their steaks to make them artificially juicy. Maybe injecting them with steak broth? Not sure but it tastes strongly if some sort of beef-flavored enhancer. You don’t get that silliness at Longhorn. Just a good old fashioned steak. Great Caesar salad. There’s something to be said for quality and consistency. Been a fan of this location for nearly 25 years. It’s changed and evolved over the years but it’s still one of my faves.
Hostess station is rude! They can't communicate or even acknowledge us. We've been waiting for over an hour and other people are going back before us that just walked in the door! Will never eat here again. Customer service is very important and they clearly don't grasp that concept. I highly recommend getting a more friendly, inviting hostess worker. First impressions are crucial
