Service was a little slower than expected, but everyone was friendly and chipping in to help out, even the managers. As always the food was great and they were able to accommodate our group of 12 for a work lunch. Something for everyone at LaRosas. Our out of town guests loved it too!
We visited the LaRosa’s on Merchant Dr. Our Pizza and Antipasto Salad was absolutely delicious. I would like to commend our waitress Natasha she did an amazing job! She was very polite and professional. We have been to a lot of pizza places and hands down this was the best pizza and service we have ever had! Great Job Natasha! Keep up the great work we will definitely be back! It’s hard to find good employees, LaRosa you have a great employee here!
The food came out hot and tasted delicious. The service was ok. They seemed understaffed, which is why our appetizer order was wrong, but it still tasted good and the server was attentive. Overall great food and good environment. We will return.
Our server was fantastic! The food was subpar. The food at LaRosa's has been spiralling downward for sometime. There were four in our party. One was a child who ordered spaghetti and a meatball. They used very little sauce and the tiny meatball looked like one of those little, frozen, bagged meatballs you buy in the freezer section. An adult friend ordered a baked Royal and the sandwich was one of the most anorexic looking hoagies I have ever seen. The ratio of meat/cheese to bun was very literally 1:10. The pizza that I ordered with the fourth person was double the price of what I could get elsewhere. The toppings were very skimpy. I was glad to see the Buddy cards were still $10 and that half of the money went to the hungry. The Buddy card is a generous way of giving back on behalf of LaRosa's. You have a lot of stores now. Don't lower your standards to institutional type food LaRosa's.
My family was on a return trip from Detroit to Lexington and stopped at LaRosa Pizza. We decided to do take out since we were pressed for time. The staff was very accommodating, giving us extra napkins and paper plates. Mo fuss, no muss. The pizza was delicious. Will definitely buy it again. There is a LaRosa pizza very close to our home.
Great food, ordered delivery, was more than expected. Great pizza, pretty good boneless wings. Thanks LaRosas Pizza!
This is one of the worst managed restaurants around. Tonight the signs in the window announced that they have no Right Size combos and no salads. A couple of months ago they had a sign saying that they couldn’t make pasta! I don’t know how an Italian restaurant stays open when it can’t produce its product. For months the whole chain couldn’t make their JoJos BLT salads because the Creamy Garlic dressing for it “wasn’t being made” even though they sold bottles of it at the checkout stand. The effort for excellence doesn’t exist here. Adequacy doesn’t exist here either anymore. Apparently the infrastructure isn’t kept up and alternative methods of “get it done” are discouraged. Sad. Used to be a good place to eat. Now in an abysmal downfall. In response to your reply:I went to the next restaurant (Cheddars) and enjoyed a delicious salad. Perhaps they went to the store and bought some lettuce. So did I. There's no shortage I could find. Seems this happens a lot to LaRosas... salad dressing, now lettuce... time for some new vendors, and a quick trip to the store, I'd say. Pleasing customers takes effort your company isn't willing to expend.
This restaurant is adjacent to the Fairfield Inn where we stayed. I called their national account line and was told pizza would take 30 to 45 minutes. It arrived in less than 15 perfectly cooked and hot. Polite delivery person!
Fantastic salad and pizza. Great prices as well.
We eat there about once a year as we travel through. It never disappoints. Our waitress was awesome, and the food was very good.
