Just got a sandwich and potato pancake to go for lunch. I got the potato pancake out in the car to eat on the way home. Took one bite and through it out the window. I think it was microwaved to chewy luke-warmness. Got home took one bite of my sandwich and tossed it into the trash. The bread soggy, the pastrami looks like it was cut sliced a week ago, in a word - gross. Used to be a very good place to eat. I won't be back.
Definitely not your average fast food place. I lobe the menu choices and I am always happy with my order.

This is a great place to eat. The food is amazing and the staff and people there make it like home. The sandwiches are awesome. I had a pastrami and my wife had a soup and pretzel bun grilled cheese. Plus everything comes with a crispy deep fried large potato pancake. Just a great meal and Patty took great care of us and make us feel special and just like home. You must check out Izzy’s!
Grilled Ruben is the BEST. Potato cake equally good. Beef barley soup, although “the best selling soup we got”, was very thick and starchy. Not a lot of flavor. The biggest issue here is it is dirty. Floors, tables everything is worn, torn and not clean, in fact it smells. Waitresses all look like they need a shower, hair cut, and sleep. The guy working in back had his pants half down his butt and showing his boxers. Not what you want to see while eating. Probably better to go thru drive thru?
The food here is pretty good. You're usual sandwhich type stuff. I'm not a fan of the location. It's usually a traffic mess around, and I think the space inside is pretty limited.
Poorly managed. The store is sticky with grime. Had to wait for table to be cleaned-even though there were only three other tables with people. Took 20 minutes to get our food because they are so concerned with Door Dash orders. Sandwich finally arrived and was incorrectly made and cold to the touch. Since i don’t eat sauerkraut and didn’t have time to wait for another 20 minutes. ... didn’t have dinner. (Except the potato pancake on the plate- which they wanted to change me for) Went a month ago and watched the manager lick her fingers after playing cheesecake. Wanted to give it another try, but won’t be going back. Izzy’s needs to get this store together or close it.
Have not been to Izzy’s in a while. Lunch people were in short supply. Only a few customers on Saturday @ 12:30 pm! Half sandwich is small and the same for pancake. Order a soup to go and that is why I am writing this review.I could buy 5 chicken noodle soup for the price of a very small BOWL of Izzy’s soup. I know the bowl dining in is larger. Better places to eat at affordable lunch prices. Wake up Northern Kentucky. Will go to another place for lunch.
Great Food, Great Service!! Some of the best corn beef in the area. Potatoes pancakes are the best and you just can't beat those pickles.
We enjoyed the service and the food very much. The Rueben’s were terrific, and the potato cakes were also excellent.
