Good food at a good price
While on vacation we had horrible luck with restaurants. Chili's however was the best restaurant we went to. It may have been the server was the bartender (little known fact, most bartenders in restaurants have been there for quite awhile, in otherwords they know what they are doing) we got burgers and the chips and salsa of course. My mom got 1 margarita and it got her loopy. My daughter got the burger as well. Service was great. Now if we could just get a Chili's closer to home it'd be great!
Don’t go. Half the restaurant was closed on a Saturday night at 6:30pm so 30 minute wait and the bartender was waiting tables with a full bar. No toilet paper in restroom but seemed clean otherwise. Pay at the table didn’t work so we had to wait for the server. Don’t order the fajitas-processed chicken was still white and vegetables seemed microwaved, black beans where in there somewhere under the black water. Chips and salsa were good as usual so decided to just fill up on these instead. My daughter loved for boneless wings which she called soft and my nephew enjoyed his fried chicken sandwich.
THE WORST. Pick ANYWHERE ELSE. Should have known when we saw there wasn't a full parking lot on Friday night.. Zero customer service skills from the hostess staff as she told our family of 9 that we would have to wait an additional 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. She said they didn't have a table, but we could clearly SEE open corner booths and other tables available. It wasn't our first choice to start with, and there's a hundred other places in Florence.This place is a perfect example of what has failed in the food service industry since the pandemic. If this wasn't a tourist area, this store would be out of business in 6 months.
The turkey sandwich was mid. The chicken tenders were chewy. The only good thing were their egg rolls! This location has gone down hill majorly. I thought I had this reoccurring experience because I got take out but nope! I went in today just to have the same experience. Dust your lights 3 feet above where customers eat!
Had reservations on Friday night. After waiting nearly 45 minutes we were told that we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes. We left when the staff got rude with us about it. After reading the other review on here about the food and service, it looks like we dodged a bullet by NOT dining here. There is a Chic Fil A right next door who was able to accommodate us immediately and had food on our table in 5 minutes . Get it together Chili’s!!
The food was extremely delicious so kudos to the kitchen staff, but the service was subpar at best. Our waitress was very superficial and seemed to have an attitude. We asked to be moved booths because they clustered all the customers in one area which I understand makes it easier to clean. I was not even finished with my meal and she came over and asked if we were paying cash or card and proceeded to ring our order up on the card machine on the table. And told us to have a good day. It was very awkward and weird considering I wasn’t even finished eating. The manager was just hanging out at the bar with his buddies and the said waitress was behind the bar talking to them the whole time.
Great food and fast service. Short staffed like everywhere else, but the servers do a great job anyway! Jonathan is our favorite! He’s friendly, helpful, and definitely makes up feel welcome every time we walk in.
