After an exhausting day at a robotics tournament, my son and I dropped in on a late afternoon before starting the long drive home. We were just looking for food but had stumbled upon something special. Small and unassuming, but this pizza place is a hidden gem. It was one of the best pizzas either of us had ever had (15” traditional crust). When we arrived only one person was working but before we left, what I am assuming is whole family (down to kids my son’s age) had arrived to work the Saturday evening shift.If you are in northern Kentucky, do yourself a favor and visit, even if it is slightly out of your way. I am not sure I have ever written a review for a restaurant before, but this place was so special that I had no choice but to spread the word.
This is not hyperbole; Alpha’s Pizza is the best pizza to be had outside of NY or Chicago. I have had many slices around both of those cities. Without question, the best slice in the state.Crust is always perfectly crispy, but not hard or chewy. Lightly sauced and a perfect portion of cheese and pepperoni that will make your toes curl. Hoagies are phenomenal, Loaded fries that will make a fat kid cry and their new mozzarella sticks are delicious. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
The owner was working a shift alone today (a few days before xmas). He was incredibly busy yet remained attentive and poised. You can tell he loves what he does. Also the prices are very reasonable. Overall fantastic experience!
Support local small businesses! Good food and good value! 15 pieces of decent size juicy wings for $13.99 while other big chains are charging you almost a double of that price! The young man helping out in the front was very polite!
My wife and I stopped by after shopping and this was the best pizza we have eaten! For some background we ride our Harley through multiple states and have tried a lot of different hometown pizza places. So we have a good background to measure against.Also the staff was very polite and pleasant.Stop by Alpha's pizza and you won't be disappointed.
Delicious and a great value! I get the Alpha calzone which is loaded with toppings and pretty large for only $7.99. The lasagna is also amazing and comes with a salad and garlic bread for around $10! Seriously....you can not beat their prices! Dine-in is available as well as take out. Service is always friendly.
Everything is delish on the menu. I love there salads and calzones. Pizzas are the best in town.
Love love love Alphas Pizza! Their homemade ranch is the best! I always get a Calzone with Loaded fries but you can't go wrong with pizza, Everyone I take to this restaurant agrees its best pizza around
