Located at the Shopping Mall Entrance. Locally owned by the nicest family. Fresh fish and seafood. Good Quality, good taste, and great customer service. They have several options on how you can cook your food, blackened, fried, broiled, etc. Oysters on the shell were amazing and we tried fried oysters for the first time and they were delicious. Keep up the good work. I am a trucker, but will stop here again when I drive to this area. God Bless this hard working family.
The staff here are so kind. I ordered the weekly special- the fried haddock sandwich. It was the best fish sandwich I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items.

A true diamond in the rough! Don't let it's location fool you, this place is legit and one of Northern Kentucky's best kept secret. Grouper, red-snapper, lobster bisque, she-crab chowder, clam chowder, smoked salmon, smoked trout and a WHOLE LOT more! Haven't had a bite there that I haven't enjoyed and looking forward to going back week after week. If you haven't tried this place you need to! Check them out on Facebook where you'll find up to date info on their weekly specials. Truly delicious and so glad they are in the neighborhood!
Traveled to northern Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter in Williamstown for our 50th anniversary. We stayed in Florence, KY. We found out about Afishianado from online search. The reviews were right. The food was great. My wife had fried shrimp, which she said were wonderful. I had beer battered fried cod. It was wonderful, too. Everyone there was very friendly and attentive. Just a down home, friendly, non-chain fresh seafood restaurant. We will definitely go back anytime we are in the area.
If I could give more than five stars, I would! My extended family and I happened to stop for dinner while traveling out of town. The owners are amazing and it's the best fresh seafood around. If you are in the area this is a must stop! It's a hole in the wall restaurant attached to the mall and the prices are very reasonable. It's run by a super sweet husband and wife team. It's just the two of them, so come in with time and patience. I promise it's worth the wait! It's honestly one of the highlights of our trip! Can't recommend it enough!
Fantastic seafood here! You can take home fresh fish to cook yourself or have John and his lovely wife cook it for you! Menu is great and they will mix and match anything you'd like to make the meal you want. Crab cakes and lobster bisque were out of this world. I would highly reccomend this to anyone that likes a bit of seafood. The pun in the name really seals the deal that Afishionados is the only place I'll go for seafood around this area.
This fresh seafood restaurant is the perfect example of a local, sincere, group of people who seem to love what they do, and our meal was perfect. There are no gimmicks here to entice you to come, it’s a display case with fresh fish, a counter and the busy kitchen behind. A few rooms adjacent for dining within. Our prepared meals included the fish taco salad which included a very freshly made pico, flavorful fish, cold lettuce, and 2 types of cheese. The pico contained a bit of lime that complemented the fish, but did not overpower the taste. My partner had a pinko fish sandwich with asparagus on the side. Great bun, crispy fish and again, the tarter was not overpowering the fish. We especially like the grilled vegetable options for sides, in addition to the traditional sides. We recommend this restaurant, and note that there is a lot of meaning and work that goes into earning the rating of excellent (all ratings are five stars!) for service and meals prepared. A neighboring table was ordering as we left, and they simply asked for whatever the cook was interested in making. This is the level of trust the frequent customers have for this small restaurant.
Amazing seafood and great people!! They have tons of seafood but the Salmon is my favorite!! The broccoli…SO GOOD! Im ready to go there now after talking about it!! I highly recommend this place!! They also have cooking classes & prepared food to go.
