If I could give waffle house Elizabethtown a zero star review I would.The staff are not welcoming and rude. My family and I ask if we could sit at a specific table at front but one of the servers insisted there was a clean table at the back near the window. She ignored the fact we wanted to sit at the front and we were willing to wait for the table to be cleaned.She still ignored us and wanted her way. So we then decided to just go at the back table she suggested But when we got to the back table it was so dirty. The chairs had ketchup and syrup on them.We waited but got ignored. No communication at all. Hard to say but the staff at that location seems to be racist. Will never go there again. I rather drive farther to waffle house Radcliff who has more nice and welcoming staff.
This is usually my first food-stop when in their marketing area (“down south”). Breakfast 24/7! You can order the “All-Star Special” (waffle, sausage, eggs, toast, grits or however you desire) and don’t forget hash browns! Try ‘em smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, topped, country OR go “All the Way” (you’ll see). All this for one low price… Yes, it’s good (and good for you)!Did I say “pancakes”? NO!
This was my first time. Yum! Quick service. Loved watching the cooks. Will be back.
Absolutely disgusting! If you want to listen to how much someone dislikes their job, and how everyone was letting her walk around with a crusty nose and watch her get a napkin wipe her nose then wipe her hands on her clothes and never touch hand sanitizer or wash them this is the place to go. Our order was wrong and cold. Watching everyone made me feel like I was in a room full of teenagers. Sad when you have to ask another waitress to get you a refill after your waitress has been standing around and hanging out. We should have walked next door grabbed a case of beer then the party would have been complete we already had loud music and loud staff. H

Michelle is by far the most friendly, accommodating, and proficient server that I've encountered in a long time. I travel a lot and frequent this restaurant often and she's the best server ever! Thank you for making this restaurant my "go to" place, Michelle!
Every employee appeared as if someone dragged them from their bed to work at Waffle House. If dealing with customers is not your thing, don't get a job dealing with customers. One star is being generous. There are too many places to eat in the area. Rudeness is unacceptable. My dollars speak volumes
Won’t be going here. Usually Waffle House is good no matter where you go but the service is not good and I asked for grits with cheese and got cheese that didn’t even melt. Do better!
This place by far has gone to hell. Some very bad food and poor service. Everything under cooked and the waitress……oh wait what waitress had to get my own stuff . Such as menus, syrup, ketchup, and napkins. I think you get the picture. Is this a joke or am I just having a bad day.
Food was decent, service was horrible. What does it take to greet your customers and treat them with kindness without acting as if they are burdening you just by coming in, when the whole restaurant is dead? Don’t you realize without customers there are no tips?? I definitely don’t plan to go back! This server had the worst attitude ever! She must hate her job!
