We used to eat here a lot. Prices have gone up quite a bit. We each ordered a hot regular sub and shared an order of fries and a drink. The fires came out in about 10 minutes. My husband’s sub came well after we had eaten all the fries (maybe 15 minutes later). He had eaten 3/4 of his sub by the time that they brought mine out. I am not sure why it took so long, it was not busy at all. The subs were both ok, but it is st took way too long.
They need to make sure their medium size order of fries for $4.39 price actually looks and is the correct amount for that price. I have had small size orders with more than that. It was worst than McDonald's cheapskating fry size amount.Sandwiches where fine over all.
By far the worst experience I’ve EVER had at a penn station!! My husband and I came in a hour before they closed to grab a small bite to eat. We stood there while the two workers continue to close their stations down. After several minutes they took our order. When we got our food it was thrown into a bag. They were both very rude not only to us but the customers they came in after us. They even made the comment that they weren’t going to answer the phone . So it continue to ring the whole time.
This location makes the delivery drivers dispense consumables. The job of a delivery driver is to pick food up that is prepared by the restaurant. It is a health code violation to pour drinks that your customers will consume. Many other restaurants all around you put stickers on top of the straw entry even the radcliff penn station. Why doesn't yours? I mentioned this to who looked like the training manager and she said she didnt care.
Had never been here before but got a Bogo coupon in the mail so gave them a try. Not very impressed, got two grilled club sandwiches and they were pretty bland. Bread was rather hard and tasteless. Toppings rather tasteless as well. The large order of fries had plenty of taste….tasted like rather old cooking oil and looked like big limp potato noodles! With a Jersey Mikes across the street and a Fireman’s Subs only a 1/4 mile away don’t waste your money here. Both those other options offer a way better sandwich for the price in my opinion. Even with the coupon I did not get my moneys worth! One and done for me on this Penn Station.
Visited 3/6/22. We ordered at 2:27PM and waited 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches and cold “fresh cut” fries. When we arrived & placed the order, there was 2 other dine in tables already eating and 2 carry outs waiting for food. There were 5 employees behind the counter eating straight from the toaster oven & fryer, goofing off, wandering around and ignoring guests. I was not given a receipt upon checking out because “that’s against company policy.” Not sure how that makes sense. There were 3 tubs of deli meats sitting on the toaster oven the entire time we were there. The lack of food safety is major concern. Glad it was Sunday & the health department wasn’t there. The tables & floor were filthy with food & trash all over. I totally understand that everywhere is short handed & it’s near impossible to hire/retain good quality help, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had throughout the pandemic. I’m hoping that someone from higher up will see this & correct the issues.Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the sandwiches were warm.
Good food but the service was absolutely terrible. The young man lety.subs sit on the counter for 15 minutes and never called my name for the order. I asked to be remade warm and the he said they couldn't do that. It will be a long while before I eat here again
Long wait time, wrong order, don’t offer refunds, rude crew. Food is good when done right, which is rare these days.
Food bad twice service was bad they made my order wrong after waiting for so long then took forever to remake it again this was my first visit lots of dirty tables I will never return
Talk about a wait time. Takes them 20 minutes to acknowledge your existent the. Takes another 20 to even start to prepare your food. Thanks penn-station
