Good bbq. The corn cake was the best I have ever had! The service was really slow when were there. It is “post Covid” and I know everywhere is having problems getting help but there were lots of employees working. Many more than I would have expected and they weren’t very busy.
We’ve driven by this place several times and were looking forward to finally trying it. Brisket was tough and tasteless. Collard greens were pure salt. Waitress seemed…out of it. Brought me the wrong drink once, forgot my drink another time, and walked away even though my husband asked her to wait so we could pay and leave.
Great experience! Headed home to Tennessee from Cincinnati and decided to stop and we were not disappointed! BBQ (pulled pork) was fantastic! Mac and cheese was good creamy slaw was amazing -husband said some of the best he’s ever had! Cabbage and sausage and greens were both great too. Waitress was great and staff was friendly! Definitely recommend trying this place!
Quaint little restaurant with plenty of food on your plate! I upgraded from one meat to 2 meats and added ribs for $5 more, but honestly should have just stuck with the pork alone! I did not leave hungry, nor did anyone else in my group. Excellent chips and cornbread. Mac and cheese was cold but still tasted good.
Come for the funny name, stay for the great food! The combo #2 came with a lot of food. The Brisket was smokey and very tender. The Baked beans were also very great! They were out of the banana pudding so we got fresh Beignets to go. Will definitely come back when we're in the area again.
Great place to eat, the pulled pork was excellent, and the staff was amazing
Yuk! Pulled pork was very dry and the chicken tenders were disgusting. The coating was rubbery, the chicken dried out and I bit into both bone and gristle. Both tasted like several day old leftovers microwaved. Cole slaw and Mac and cheese were good, but very disappointing dinner overall.
The fall-off-the-bone ribs were the best I've eaten in a long time, hands down! I was omw back to Little Rock Arkansas and saw the sign on the interstate and turned around to try the ribs. The potato salad was different, but good, and they had corn cakes! They also had homemade cracklins that were great! Would definitely get ribs again
What a great place to get BBQ , the real deal. Awesome ribs, pulled pork sandwich was A1 , I would recommend this eating establishment to any of my friends or family.
I’d like to give 4.5 stars, but can’t justify 5. I ordered the ribs combo with potato salad and slaw and I got the corn cakes. Sides and corn cakes were very tasty, as well as the ribs but the ribs were not quite as fall-off-the-bone as I would like.My wife had the pulled pork baked potato which was the size of a football! Very tasty as well.Staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and well maintained. Prices were also very reasonable.I’m sure that we will return again to try some of their other offerings. Highly recommend to those in search of BBQ in E-Town!!!
