I have never eaten loaded fries of any kind, but could not pass these up! Fresh and delicious. The perfect hangover food if I ever find myself hungover! The only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars was the spicy margaritas. They just fell short. Too sweet. And even though service was slow due to an unexpected dinner rush, we didn't mind. Nice people, good food, good for Covington. I will be back for sure!
Small menu, high quality. Delicious street food at reasonable prices. Soda and alcohol available to wash it all down. Tacos were so good, I went back the same week. I've had the spicy pork and the chicken tacos so far, both were really tasty but I preferred the chicken. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did.
Bierra Taco's OMG !!! Let me tell you if you have not been to Olla then I am not sure what you have been eating. This cute quaint corner taqueria is cranking out the most wonderful food you have ever tasted. I have been going to Olla since last year and e every time I go I have not been disappointed. The young lady at the register is always friendly and very attractive to your needs while dining in. My husband and I had a date day at the Auto show and I really wanted food but not just any food I wanted OLLA! Bierra Taco's ?We drove over ordered in and we sat in the back at the window seats. The food was perfect and so was the service. We even wound up ordered 6 more Taco's to go for my children. Listen all I can say is GO TO OLLA today before they close at 10pm. LoL ?
Great Food and The Cali Burrito actually has Fries like is supposed too. It will do the Job. Great customer service and real nice clean place.
First time eating here and it was delicious! The owner is super nice! We ordered the Cali burrito and the Guti Fries and it was so good! Will definitely be back!
This place is spectacular. The ambiance is festive and joyful at first glance. The woman behind the counter is fun and exciting. She explained everything including the Taco deal. I got three tacos and felt so happy. The marinated shrimp was bright and vibrant while the chicken really moist and tender. The beef stew was the real kicker. Dip the melted taco with beef strewn through with stew broth and just die in bliss. The passion fruit margarita with tahini around the rim kept me warm, vibrant beyond absolute reason. I recommend to get three tacos with one margarita, either the passion/mango blended or the spicy cucumber/jalapeño. They even have extra big bottles of Mexican coke and other beverages for cheap. The guac was amazing too and the chips are huge. That is enough for three people. Come here anytime for a quick and luxurious tacoand relax. The street it is on is busy so don't run around for parking, find something on a side street.Overall, bring $30 and have a good taco/tequila throw down. It's a real treasure.
This place is now your favorite Mexican restaurant. Every dish has so much flavor it is fantastic. My only regret about coming here was I wasn't able to eat more. Try everything that you can, you will not regret it!
Delicious! The Passion fruit margarita was super pleasantly and surprisingly great. The beef consume is to die for! Beef birrias are crispy, yet the meat is tender.
I have heard a lot about "Birria" tacos and had to check out the hype at Olla Covington. I was not impressed... I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. First time ever trying Birria (the menu says it's similar to beef stew) and now I'm wondering if I can ever go back to the "Mexican" food I knew before. The meat is so juicy and it quite literally melts in your mouth, if you haven't tried it, you haven't lived yet. We also had the Carne asada quesadilla and Adobada guti nachos, which makes me think this place couldn't make a bad dish if they tried. It's the real deal, Olla Cov is a game changer. The portions are more than generous, however it can be a bit greasy.
Everything is always so good and the portions are plenty. Worth every penny and the wait if there happens to be one!. Birria tacos and guti fries are fabulous
