This is authentic BBQ that reminds you what real BBQ is, better than you can make at home!Try the scrumptious Burnt Ends and the crispy and juicy Pork Belly sandwiches. And the Owners are real and down-home people, good for the soul!

My son's and I get together every Friday this time we came here to this wonderful place. The food was so good the corn bread muffins to die for. And the service was so great we felt right at home we will be returning as much as possible love love them!

Result is polished clean plates!!Food is def 5/5!Collards were in the maybe the best ever had category, cornbread was light and perfect with the maple butter!Ribs were smoked and then served warm! Top ten of all time (includes Georgia, Alabama, andvthe Carolina's) Sauces on point for dipping. Will definitely recommend this family run great place!!!!Do not sleep on the mango bbq sauce

This place is phenomenal! The owner/chef was fun, engages his customers, and is a ton of fun. It was an experience! And the food?! Homemade, fresh, authentic! A lot of care goes into it. Even waiting for the food was great! If I'm ever in the area again, I will be paying McK's BBQ a visit again!

We have eaten bbq in Kansas City, Memphis and other places around the midwest and my family loved McK's BBQ the best. The Pork Overload was amazing. We just happened to drive by on vacation and went back a second time before our trip ended. The chef is Frenchy and he has a lot of energy. We also enjoyed the Pork Grenade, Tacos, Mac & Cheese, Wings, Burnt Ends sandwich, and Collard Greens. All of the meats were so tender, the only way I like it. Location is small with limited seating however.

Super friendly chef-owner, Frenchie, is welcoming and fun with everyone. His special concoction, the Grenade, is A clever melding of sweet, spicy, savory and succulent. Highly recommended.

I had been here many times prior to the remodel so I took a colleague here when he was in town. Mck’s didn’t disappoint! The food was wonderful and Frenchie is a true ace! He was churning great food out and charming customers like a pro. A truly beguiling guy who embodies what Mck’s charm is all about. I’ll definitely be back folks!

We stayed at the Hotel Covington and had a craving for Barbecue and just across the the street we got lucky. My husband is actually from South Carolina and grew up on traditional barbeque so of course he had to try. We both agreed that was one of the best barbeque we had in a long time. I had the chicken hoagie with the mango salsa which was a huge portion and tasted super good. My husband had the ribs with the Carolina sauce- (of course) 0and he raved about it all the way back to Tennessee. Also I have to say service was great. Frenchie was really nice and just a awesome gentleman to talk to. A real character. If you are in the Cincinnati-Covington area stop by and have you some real good barbeque.

You have to eat here! I don’t care where you are, make the trip just for this place! We were in Cincinnati for appointments at Cincinnati Children’s and our son wanted BBQ. We found this place and it did not disappoint! The brisket melted in your mouth! There’s a reason the grenade is award winning and the chicken bbq sandwich and mac-n-cheese were more than delicious.

OMG!!! I am a local and have just discovered this AMAZING BBQ restaurant! The people were superb as well as very knowledgeable about the products they were serving. We ordered the rib tips, pork belly, brisket and I COULD NOT LEAVE w/o the world famous GRENADE? A flavor experience you will never regret!!! Thank you for an awesome dinner?
