Cocktail Bar Tacos

Service is great - they're personable, friendly, and attentive. Tacos are 10/10 and the menu is updated periodically! And if you're a cocktail lover, they've got some of the best.If your group is all 21+, be sure to stop by Alibi (next door, same owners, same menu) - chic, fun, and great atmosphere.Probably one of our favorite places to stop when in Covington, especially for tacos!

Just when you think this place can't get any better, (amazing food) you get a server like Addison who cracks you up and gives genuine care during your meal. I brought a friend from out of town with me and this meal will ensure she comes back to visit again. Thank you for the laughs, fun, food and amazing drinks. We had a great time!

I was excited as the atmosphere was cool however the food did not live up to the hype. The pick 3 queso and salsa appetizer was good only because the unique fried flour tortilla shells however my tacos were underwhelming as there were grisly parts in the el pastor pork taco and the mahi-mahi fish taco had a strong flavor of fish which I've never experienced before with mahi mahi.. not bad food, better than most tacos but not as wonderful as expected. They were second tier to Condado.

If you are wanting to go to an upbeat atmosphere with friends, this might be a great option. If you are a couple looking for exceptional food, you might want to go somewhere else. We had to circle the block twice before finding a parking spot 2 blocks away. Once we arrived on a Saturday night, we were seated immediately and service was prompt. The chips and guacamole were average at best. The "epic" tacos were average. I make similar tasting tacos at home using a packaged seasoning mix with ground beef.

5. Jax our server was wonderful! Food was superb! Ambiance is great. A fun place to go w friends. Bright. Shiny. Lovely. Clean.

Fantastic! Highly recommended! We tried the filthy fajita,, Karen's BGG, The Bomb, and the Crown jewels tacos. Crown jewels was by far the best! We also had peach bellini Margheritas. I will definitely go again. We had chips and quaso to start, and we each tried two tacos, they were so filling and rich we had to get take home boxes. They also have a card that the waitress places on your table and when you need service you turn it to green and then red when you do.t want to be bothered. Great food, great atmosphere, a must try!

A variety of tacos to suit any taste. Enjoyed the General TSO mock "chicken" taco. And the Lo Mein noodle bowl was also delicious.

Was looking forward to going here as we were staying right across from here at the Hotel Covington. Once we arrived, the host was very nice and tried to find us a table. Once seated our waitress came over several minutes later to take our drink order. Once the drink order was place, we ordered our food as well. The bartender made the drink immediately and sat it on the counter for the waitress. 15-20 minutes passed and we didn't see our waitress at all. I went up to the bar and another waitress brought me the drink and seemed very upset with the other waitress. Once our waitress finally came back to the table her mood and attitude towards us was completely opposite. She was rude and just shook her head at us when we said anything. She screwed up my fiance's order and put mushrooms on it. She questioned us when we said there were mushrooms on the taco and we had to actually show her the mushrooms. Then we ordered the noodle dish to go and asked for no mushrooms and again she had mushrooms all in the dish. Was wishing this place was much better. We tipped appropriately.

We took our son and his family for lunch on a Saturday. I had recently been to the Libery location so knew what to expect as far as the menu but that was about the extent of any similarities. They have no kids menu listed but said they would accommodate us, we ended up ordering mac and cheese and fries, all were good but she really wanted corn on the cob but apparently, that is only seasoned and can't be served plain. The waitress did bring the baby's food out first so she could eat, we were glad for that. Our food came not long after, it tasted good, and was hot. Parking is a nightmare (totally not the restaurants' fault) but be aware. The waitress told us they patrol and ticket heavy on the weekends. I won't swear off Agave and Rye completely but will not be back to this location in the future due to space limitations, no changing tables for babies, and the lack of parking.

The place is so aesthetically pleasing and the service is great. HOWEVER, never in my life have I felt so ripped off!!The food was trash and it was so overpriced. Ordered Guac, 4 Tacos and a pitcher of pineapple margarita $86?!?!!!!Almost 8 dollars for a taco that you stuffed with rice, a threw a strip of chicken and slathered some barbecue sauce that tasted like something I would buy at a supermarket.Their excuse? “Oh it’s a specialty taco” the Bullshit…$2 tacos at a Mexican food truck would’ve been better. The pitcher of margarita was straight up pineapple juice concentrate with barely any tequila. I left with a sugar high.I should’ve said something but they were closing and I was so tired from traveling for work all day long and I just wanted to enjoy my time with my friend who joined me for dinner.I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is a ripoff with a VERY cute vibe ? PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.
