Me and my kids LOVE this place and is has all the selections we love. I’m mad we waiting so long to go here it’s definitely going to be one of my new favorite places!
This place is one of the best food places in Bowling Green. You choose from a variety of frozen yogurt options - you can add as much as you like to your cup. There is even a bigger selection of toppings to choose from. You can add as much as you like, then when you pay, you pay by the ounce. Your frozen yogurt creation is weighed and you are charged accordingly. Delicious!
This place has really gone downhill. We went today and arrived at 3:40. They were scheduled to close at 4 because of the holiday hours.When we arrived, 2 of the 6 machines were turned around and the 2 employees were busy cleaning them. The employees never acknowledged we were present at the store. Of the remaining machines, only a few had any product in them. We tried several flavors and barely could get any yogurt out of them because they were empty.We decided to leave and on the way out, I shouted to the back of the store if they could tell me how to get in touch with their Manager or Owner. The two female employees refused to answer my question.I explained that I was disappointed they did not acknowledge us as customers and that they had so many flavors out of service and machines being cleaned despite being open. They responded that they close soon and that is why they were cleaning them already. It is clear to me that they wanted to leave as soon as the store closed and likely took it upon themselves to begin cleaning early.I do not expect to hear back from the owner on here as they do not appear to respond to negative reviews. I will attempt to call to ensure proper feedback is delivered on this very unsatisfactory experience.I wish I could encourage others to go to other Bowling Green frozen yogurt self serve establishments, but Stakz is the only one I know of in town. We decided to go to Dairy Queen instead.
I love frozen yogurt! Spent years of my life as a manager at a shop in Ca. That being said this is the dirtiest froyo place I have ever been. Disappoints me massively because it’s my favorite treat. This isn’t a one time fluke incident I have been several times hoping it was just a ruff day and it was dirty every time. The employees were on there phones and hanging out in the back instead of working. Management has a lot of fixing to do.
Love coming to Stakz with friends all the time but recently have been disappointed by the lack of flavors.They have too many “chocolate” based flavors and not enough fruit or tart ones. I was a fan of the tart and lemonade ones but I guess management decided to take them away. I’ve talked to other people and they are definitely sad about it too. Talked to a worker at Stakz and she said that other people have been asking for the tart and lemonade flavor too. Hoping it comes back soon. It was so good. Giving two stars because there are too many flavors that taste the same. Wish owner listened to what the customers wanted.
I love stakz yogurt but the past few times I’ve been the place has been an absolute mess…toppings all over the place, containers left open, and it looked like the containers/utensils hadn’t been cleaned in a good while. I even found a hair in the gummy container and told the lady working. Completely unacceptable and I’ve given them multiple chances, I won’t be back.
Never coming backFloors were incredibly stickyHalf the froyo I wanted came out liquid wasn't even frozen and if it was it was clumpyJust horrible experience
First time I ever went here and it's not that it's bad cause it's not I'm just not a yogurt kinda guy. With that said they have a ton of flavors and a ton of topping and if your on a date great place to get a cool treat while u chat it up with your date. If u have kids this would be an awesome place to stop by on a hot summer day and get the fam a cold treat with dozens of toppings
Stakzs was good but they don’t clean or get there machines fixed the tables are sticky still and workers don’t even clean it that place was better back in 2015 through 2020 it’s soo depressing coming in there in 2022 the lack of cleaning and laziness I mean are they getting paid to be lazy or getting paid to clean but over all I would say it needs work on there management
stakz USED to be a great place...it's dirty sticky and not well kept at all. the toppings are always out and when you ask about them the employees are pretty non helpful. really sad
