Located across the street from Thai Thai restaurant on Chestnut St, this place is a hidden treasure. Friends and I went there for the first time last week but it certainly won't be the last. The restaurant is very clean and has a feeling of home. The food is amazing! You can tell it isn't cooked in large batches. I ordered The Dump, (picture attached), which you will have to ask for because you won't find it on the menu. OMG! It was one of the best things I've put in my mouth in a very long time! I finished every bite and was tempted to lick my plate. ? The corncakes are to die for!!! The Dump might look like a, well, dump, but don't let that deter you. It's sublime! I ordered pineapple upside down cake for dessert. It was a little too sweet for my taste but good. The restaurant is in a house, and we drove past it the first time. The sign isn't real obvious, and parking is in the back. If you miss it, turn around, and go back. It very quickly became my favorite place to eat! Remember, when you see Thai Thai, look across the street. If you appreciate good home cooking, you're gonna' love it, I promise!!!

I was in town from Indianapolis for my daughter's graduation and my family stop by S & D Soul Favorites LLC. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING" my mom and dad love the fish and especially the okra. They talk about it the entire weekend. I strongly recommend this place they have great servers with wonderful smile very knowledgeable of their product the food was hot, fresh and to die for. I would definitely make sure that I stop here again when I'm in town.

My family I dine-in at S&D following my brother's private burial service! I love the comfortable amosphere and family friendly staff! The food was served hot and it was delicious ?! I been craving some good southern style catfish. It definitely measured up to my expectations. If you are in the Bowling Green its (located in the old downtown) area! I encourage you to check it out ...it also child friendly too!!!

The wings are amazing. The fried chicken was awesome. The BBQ with corn cakes were fantastic. Definitely will be coming back, and our server was so incredible!

Great new restaurant in downtown Bowling Green. Awesome menu with nice selection of home cooked food. Many vegetable choices. The Catfish is the Bomb!

We were adventure dining and we were so not disappointed in our choice. We ate every last bit of food on our plates. The portion sizes were just right. The food was full of flavor. The service was amazing. The only down side was that we needed to leave before we could order dessert. Highly recommend if you are in Bowling Green! We can't wait to come back and try other items in the menu

Great food. The fried chicken was good but the catfish was amazing.

Owner's were great they had awesome food and service. It's a very clean and cozy establishment. The young lady that took care of us was wonderful. I wanted a lil bit more portion wise when it came to the sides. But all in all it was magnificent and highly recommended!

Overall everything was very tasty. They were out of multiple items we wanted to try, but everything we ended up ordering was fresh and had great seasoning. The service was good, prices mid range for what it is, and the wait time was a bit more than expected.

My companion and I recently stopped by during a road trip in search of some good southern barbecue.Nestled in a quaint residential area, the restaurant has been tastefully converted from a former home. The decor is quite pleasant; the atmosphere somehow manages to strike a perfect balance between elegant and laid back. It's immaculately clean and spacious. The menu is small for a reason: they are clearly good at what they do. The food is INCREDIBLE. I got "The Dump," which I promise is more appetizing than it sounds. a clever twist on a pulled pork sandwich featuring meat and cole slaw between 2 cornbread pancakes, topped with a heaping serving of baked beans. My friend got the fried catfish with a side of sweet pepper slaw. Literally everything was so delicious and prices were very reasonable.Another highlight of our visit was the service. Even on a Saturday night, we were promptly waited on and had our food shortly thereafter. The server and hostess (owners?) were both so sweet. The Southern hospitality was a refreshing change from what we're used to up north.5 stars across the board. I'd eat there all the time if I lived close by!
