Always a solid choice for pizza. Great service, solid pizza. I swear by the Holy Shiitake.
Probably the best pizza in town in terms of quality...but it ain't cheap. Be prepared to walk away with a 30-40 dollar ticket for 2, which is fine considering the quality of food, but this isn't a everyday pizza place for the masses. Usually the wait times are a little long to get your food, but the service is good and the restaurant is clean. Often they will have local live ?! If you drink, they have a great selection as well. All and all solid, but a little high.
Food is always good at mellow mushroom but man the wait can be a killer. Went on a holiday and waited an hour plus for our delicious pizzas. Had issue and manager promptly stepped in and made it right. Live music can be very loud and patio area is nice when weather permits. Beer selection is good as well but all of it together can be pricey.
Great food. Cool environment. Little pricey but service has always been good. Really good beer choices.
I am a low carb eater, so not super excited when my family decided to eat here. But I got the Ultimate Cobb salad with pomegranate/acai dressing and was blown away! Seriously delicious. They all loved their pizza, which looked amazing. Service was good!
Mellow Mushroom is a great place! I sat at a high top table in the bar area. The bartender was nice, not pushy, and made sure I was happy. The entire atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The food was delicious! I had the pretzel bites which were hot, had plenty of butter and parmesan cheese, and easy to eat. They were even delicious when I ate the leftovers cold the next morning. I ordered the Mighty Meaty pizza which is my go to. Perfect - amount of toppings and sauce ratio. Just delicious... My overall experience was chill and fun, just what I needed after a long travel day the day before. I look forward to eating here again the next time I'm in town.
Great pizzas with different takes than your normal pepperoni or sausage. We had the wild in Havana and the Merry Prankster added the 3 type of mushrooms and it was delicious. Wish we had one in Northwest Indiana.
Great food, atmosphere, and service. A killer spicy Bloody Mary. Best beer selection in Bowling Green.
Took 2 hours for our food to be made. I am giving two stars however because the food is very delicious. I understand things happen, but 2 hours is ridiculous and they should’ve offered a discount or coupon or SOMETHING to make it right. Again, the food at Mellow Mushroom is highly recommended. If someone from the restaurant contacts me to make it right, I will edit this review. The ball is in your court now, Mellow Mushroom.
Liked the atmosphere. Michael was manning the bar and did a great job taking care of us. The 90’s rock in the background was off-brand (70’s acid rock would have made more sense) but not bad. They put us in the back by the bar even though there was space in the main dining room, not sure why ??♀️They have a respectable array of micro-brewery beers. I imagine any taste preference could be accommodated. The food was delicious, can’t think of anything bad, though not a ton going on presentation-wise. We got the pretzels as the appetizer (spoiler alert: they aren’t actually pretzels, just baked pizza dough; not legit, but still tasty). They come with a marinara sauce for dipping but you can get a beer/cheese dip also (totally with the extra cost). We went for the Buffalo chicken pizza with a ranch dressing swirl, but I’d like to try it with the optional blue cheese swirl in the future. The toppings were delicious and fresh. The Buffalo sauce didn’t overwhelm everything else. I’m generally more fussy about the crust on pizzas, and this one was pretty great I thought: crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and not soggy.Definitely would recommend.
