This is our second time eating here… the first time we got a pizza to go- the girl who took our order over the phone was so pleasant that we decided to walk over (we are staying right behind them in an apartment for the summer) & have a beer and see what the place was like… the pizza was mediocre at best but decided we would give them another try… mistake! This time we tried to dine in.. the young waitress took our drink order, draft beer & a glass of Chardonnay… 10 minutes later the girl comes back with no drinks, only to tell me they are out of Chardonnay.. I asked where my spouses beer was, she replied she’s still waiting on it.. so I ordered a blue moon draft since they were out of wine.. 10 minutes later the waitress comes back with no drinks, only to tell us the bartender is ignoring her & wouldn’t make our drinks… we watched the bartender ONLY serve the group she seemed to know at the bar and the few guys at the bar as well.. she was not personable to anyone else at all.. we decided to leave at this point- can’t even get a beer at a bar! We knew it would take forever to try and get food.. sad because this was so convenient to our summer place, but definitely will not return to the rude short blonde hair bartender that apparently hates her job.
Our server was great, but the service was slow due to staffing. To the manager and owner - Pay your employees a living wage and you won't have such high turnover. You can afford it given the number of customers on a Saturday night. The pizza was average. It wasn't exciting, but good after a long day.
Stopped in on Jan. 31th. We were headed to Florida and stopped for the night in B.G.The pizza and beers we had for dinner were good but the thing I remember was the service was great. Sorry, don't know what the ladies name was that waited on our table.
Favorite Pizza & Calzones in Bowling Green KY and at reasonable price. Friendly atmosphere, lots of TVs to watch sports. This restaurant is on RESTAURANT.COM where you can buy $15 coupon for discounted price to save on your meal (as low as $6).....LOVE THAT! I bought LARGE PIZZA & shared with HOMELESS.
I am frustrated I didn't get pictures but i was very hungry. Food was really good and plenty of it. Try the pepperoni twist!!! They were great. The brisket sandwhich had a heavy smoked flavor and was NOT dry at all. Loaded fries were good as well. The venue was very cool. Great service. Will definitely return if in the area
Really enjoyed our waitress, Parker. She was super sweet and attentive. The beers were good and the atmosphere was just right. This is a great place to kick back and relax and enjoy the game.
We stopped by for lunch and the food was great. I had the BBQ fries and they were spot on. Easily the best I have had. I know a little good bar food and this place has it going on. Great job Lost River Pizza.
Good food. I'll give this place that much. The last several times we've gone, our wait times during slow hours have been extremely long. During our most recent visit, our pizza was burned, but we were not told until one of our party spoke with a manager, who then informed us of the situation. Our server was short-spoken and AWOL the majority of the time and overall had an extremely poor attitude. Hypothetically speaking, were something to change with the wait staff, we would change our review, but as long-time customers who have seen this place in its prime, we're out and very sad about it.
Had brisket and slaw. Sandwich was awesome and slaw was most likely the best vinegar slaw to ever tantalize thes taste buds. Will definitely be back to try the pizza.
Editing my review from a 1 star to a 5 star.We tried to come for lunch and our order was not taken. No one was taking care of us so we left even after asking someone to get someone to take our order.I sent them a message explaining what happened and they made it right. Offered to have us back and the pizza would be on them.I really glad we came back. Pizza was great and so was the service. Marina personally apologized and was very professional. Thank you for caring!
