We normally love IHOP. But this location was weird. It looked closed, they had the shades pulled down and signage turned off. It was after sun down the parking lot was empty. But we tried to open the door to see for sure and they were actually open. There were no customers and no servers, but then a waitress emerged from the back and she said they were indeed open but their sign didn't work. She seated us, my 10 year old started to cry because he just felt like it was creepy, like the beginning of a bad dream. However, The food and service ended up being good, but it was really weird at the beginning. We never saw another employee. I got the distinct impression that they didn't want any customers. I gotta admit, I totally understood my child's feeling bc I had it to.
The service was TERRIBLE! The waiter brought us our drinks and said he’d be “right back” to take our order. 15 minutes later we still hadn’t seen him, so flagged down another waitress who took our order. Still hadn’t seen him. There were only 3-4 tables at the time. After taking our order, it was 25 minutes before it was brought out….COLD. It was ridiculous. A couple that came in with us walked out after 30 minutes with no menus and servers walked right by them multiple times. Absolutely will never be back. I understand why IHOP is struggling.
My first time eating @ an Ihop. The service was excellent. The 3rd shift staff members were friendly and courteous. Restaurant is clean and sanitized. If I could rate more stars to this place I definitely would. Keep up the superb work ladies and gentlemen
I would give this restaurant 0 stars. 1 out of the 2 servers on the floor was nice and checked on all tables, she really did the best she could. The second older white female server (possibly the manager) refused to check on 3 tables with customers that were people of color. The silverware and table were dirty, and the food was ok. The only thing that saved our night was a very generous family that came in to eat after us, paid our bill after noticing how we were being treated. This family was able to sitdown, order, and were checked on multiple times before my family and I were able to place our order.
Not crowded, server was nice. Food was great.
Had to wait due to workers not showing up...after getting food was good...waitress very nice
Server “Heaven” was courteous and well mannered. did an excellent job (5 stars for her)Management made her “up charge” me for a splash berry drink (one that has always had free refills for the last several years, but after I order and drank my first and asked for a second then I was told they now up charge for that drink?? Wish I would have known before I ordered. Literally was downloading their app for bank of pancakes rewards to sign up and instead switched to a google review instead. I get saving money by not giving refills but I won’t be back due to this. Good luck in this crazy world.
Great meal, served promptly. I wish I could remember the waitres name. She was wonderful and very personable. Would definitely go again.
We had the best service and the best meal from this IHOP than any other IHOP in the states. We lived in NC for years and never had better service and food!! We recommend this place very much. Leave a big tip because they deserve it!!!
Just placed an order for delivery. The food showed up on time so the delivery service was fine. However, there was so much grease in the container my food came in that I could not eat the food. I had a hash-brown as a side and it was burnt. I won't be back
