Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. Food was outstanding. The tomahawk is definitely worth trying if you are hungry!
My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant ALOT. Wonton palmetto cheese for appetizer. For our meal m wife had the pork chop & I had the 16 oz ribeye and both were a amazing. Service was great. This is a great relaxing restaurant. We sat in the screened in porch area. This is a must go to restaurant.
Even in summer you can have fresh East Coast Oysters in BG. They are of course small but a good starter before you get one of the fabulous steaks. If Rib-eye or Filet our group was happy with the way the meat was cooked and presented. Service was excellent.
Top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. Service was amazing!
My first of many dinners to come here this evening. Top level service service from Mr Jordan. Enjoyed a cigar outside from a small but well stocked humidor they have. Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Josh and his wife on the patio. If you are looking for a great meal, service experience, and drinks in Bowling Green, this is the spot. I will be back soon.
My son and daughter took me to Hickory & Oak for Mother's Day Brunch--At $50 per person. The buffet menu that had been posted included charcuterie, sliced cheese & fresh fruit. When I asked about items I was told NO, we don't have charcuterie (in a very rude manner), the prime rib was sliced so thinly it was almost shaved, and the server did not like that I asked for another portion. The price was way over inflated for the food. I was appreciative that they took me there and was not going to say anything, but my son, who frequents there, stated he was very disappointed in the food and cost of the meal. I will try it again for a normal meal, even though most everything is ala carte, and will see how it is. I would not recommend the brunch buffet.
Everything was amazing! Our server was Logan and he was the best! From drinks, appetizers, meals, and desserts it was all perfect! Our favorites were the Wagyu and the Tomahawk! Definitely will be back. We had reservations to eat in the dinning room but we ended up eating in the screened in porch that was heated and we had a blast! We are definitely going to do the chefs table the next time!
The atmosphere was rather relaxed but the decor was pretty original with a more rustic feel to it. We recommend you make a reservation. The menu had a lot of variety from steaks and curried sea bass, to a rack of elk. We were disappointed in the scallop appetizer as it came with bone marrow but there was not much flavor to it. We both ordered our steaks rare, however my filet was prepared closer to medium but my husband's ribeye came out perfect. Both were really delicious, despite mine being over cooked and I do want to point out I did not send mine back or complain about it but do feel they would have corrected the mistake if I had. Dessert was a fantastic cheesecake with a blackberry compote on top, served over a layer of key lime reduction. Our server Edwin was the bartender, however he was attentive and we did not lack for anything. We will definitely be back to try some of the other food options.
I had an unusual experience!! Just wish we didn’t have to fight flies through my experience! Food was great it was recommended by other people! Waitress needs to listen to the customer! I asked for no sauce on my pork chop it came with sauce anyway and was asked to try to eat it anyway! Customer is always right! I guess not that night! Hope it’s better next time!
Very cool decor and atmosphere. Food was a little heavy on oil but still delicious (I had salmon). Was also tempted by the cookie sundae which was massive and split with two people next to me at the bar. I was comfortable eating solo here and would definitely go back for the good vibe! Probably not the best place if you are looking for something super healthy….
