The food here is mid at best but the servers.. girl. The last time I had gone I went with my boyfriend. The waitress taking our order wasn’t timely which okay fine sometimes people have those days although it wasn’t particularly busy. Anyway, we wait a while for our drinks, we need a refill and she brings a water. My boyfriend accidentally knocks it over and we ask for some towels or paper towels to clean it up. We made the mess we were gonna clean it up. Our waitress sees this and ROLLS her eyes and dramatically sighs like we just ruined her whole day. She throws her hands up and gestures towards the table behind us and says “go sit over there!” With an attitude. We left after that because NO ONE should treat another person like that. We paid for our chips and salsa and left. My only regret is I didn’t pour my drink on the table. Since she wanted to complain and have an attitude over a spilt cup of water that WE were going to clean up, she should have had to deal with clean the water and my tea up.Don’t eat here. Go somewhere else.

Food was excellent, wonderful atmosphere. The salsa was my favorite I’ve ever had. We loved it so much we went both days of our stay in Bowling Green!

I have traveled all over the U.S and have experienced the good and bad. I give my my most honest opinion based on my most recent visits.Excellent food, Excellent service. The best Mexican food in BG. I would highly recommend trying El Mazatlan in Bowling Green, you won't be disappointed.

Good food and good service, portions are more then adequate and the drinks are made for those who drink when they go out, not to strong but you can tell the alcohol is there. All together a good place to sit and have a few drinks with dinner while catching up with friends/Family.
Great food! Great presentation! Very polite staff. Me and my "date" sat in the bar area where they were displaying soccer on a huge wall mounted television behind the bar. Wasn't too loud, wasn't too quiet. Our waiter was Mexican, but spoke both languages very well. He was very polite. Our food was brought to our table about 5 or 6 minutes after ordering. Very quick After eating our food he was very punctual about bringing our check in a quick manner. I gave this experience and this restaurant a 5/5 because it meet all the criteria I could think of to conclude this being a very good late lunch, early dinner experience. And also, a great restaurant overall. Clean, friendly staff, with a great overall atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean. They also have a huge selection of choices regarding seating. They have the bar which is mainly bar stool tables, the bar, as well as a few other tables and chairs that aren't as high up as the bar. OutSide of the bar there are 3 choices. Booths, tall bar stool tables, and also regular tables and chairs. They have plenty of kids booster seats as well as high chairs for your little ones. They also have kids menus with crayons for kids. Good choice for good eats in my opinion.
Margaritas, great food, waiters
Typical authentic Mexican fare. Very live and inviting atmosphere. Loved their spicy salsa. Reasonably priced Margarita and very cheap Happy hour drink.
