Good drinks.. the food is bland.
Excellent Mexican style food with a really comfortable atmosphere. The staff is fluent in English, very friendly, alert & attentive. The servers arrive at your table promptly, soon taking your order, serving up drinks, salsa & chips. I love the attention to detail with the internal decor; it adds more to the experience. Your food will arrive quickly after placing your order even when they are in a rush. The servers make sure everyone has everything they need. The building is well maintained, kept clean, the floor is kept clean, the restroom is clean there were not any objectional odors noted. When the servers are not helping customers they are wiping down & sanitizing everything, the tables, counters and so forth. The prices are reasonable for this type of dining. If you like Mexican style food and GREAT SERVICE this is a RECOMMENDED place to eat. ?
Service and Drinks were amazing.
New to BG so I tried a New Mexican restaurant and loved it! The service was good, food seasoned well and Margaritas were good! No complaints whatsoever...nothing but compliments! Prices were good and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable!! Greeted and seated upon entering and server came to table quickly and took our orders. Restaurant was very large and had a really nice bar and patio area with a lovely waterfall in the backdrop! The decor inside and out were absolutely gorgeous!! Located in a plaza but don’t let that fool you...this place is reeeallly nice!!
As a solo female diner with a knee brace I was delighted to sit at the bar on a nice, comfy bar stool. Though my Michelob draft was ice cold, its $3.50 price tag seemed a bit steep and had I known the price, I would have opted for a margarita! That said, the mushroom quesadilla was perfectly chargrilled and delicious and the yummy a la carte tomatillo sauce is most definitely worth $1.25. Service was friendly albeit a little slow but overall El Mazatlan #2 is a winner.
Ate here for the first time and they are the only ones that actually have horchata in Bowling Green love this stuff. Beautiful place on the inside. Good wait staff too. Will probably be coming back since the flan was so good.
Threatened to call the police on me when it was their own fault for not properly taking care of our receipts, tried to make me cover what was left unpaid by members of my party who already paid their individual receipts and left. Been coming for 15+ years never a bad experience until now, new manager and waitress i’ve never seen, Food was still good per usual.
We always enjoy the super helpful and friendly staff as well a the big screen TVs in the bar for sports viewing. Food is excellent and they always get your order right!
Big Birthday party here Sunday! Everyone was very happy with the food, waiters and accommodations! They truly work hard to provide a wonderful time for all guests. I'm in awe with all the capabilities of the food plating and the perfect taste with everything we ordered. Our group had 24 people, 1 in a wheelchair and 4 children.
Ew. Gross. No. That was seriously some of the nastiest Mexican food I have ever eaten. And I eat a lot of Mexican food. I got the Burrito real - my usual litmus test for trying out a new Mexican restaurant. I'm still wondering if it had ketchup on top. The salsa wasn't even good.
