I am down grading my 5 star rating to a 2 star. Chaney's has outgrown it's ability to keep up with it's patrons. Every garbage can was overflowing with trash (including in the restroom-which was it's own nightmare). There was a line out the door for people wanting ice cream, the napkin dispensers were empty, and the tables were disgusting where no one has cleaned them. I understand it's a seat yourself kind of place, but at least have someone come through to empty garbage and wipe tables. As a local, I do not recommend going back to Chaney's and for tourists, the ice cream is nice, but if you are hungry, I recommend getting lunch meat and bread from the IGA a 1/2 mile away and making your own sandwiches a lot cheaper.
Unique local restaurant that was recommended to us by a local person. If your in the area and would like to try something other than main stream establishments go here. Our food was great as was the service. We noticed an ice cream counter that was very busy. This is a walk up counter order and find your own table type of place.
Hooray Cows! Fresh milk means fresh ice cream! Really great and huge scoops! I got the mini-split and almost couldn't finish! If you are visiting the area it is worth the detour!
Such a great learning opportunity for the kids. And a huge playground to get rid of some energy. Also excited for the jam I picked up.
We always stop at Chaney's every time we are in the area. We tried the carrot cake in waffle cake for the first time. Delicious!! The ice cream tastes like butter cream icing with chunks of carrot cake. Definitely must try it for yourself.
We stumbled upon Chaney’s and glad we did. We love the ice cream and playground. Great family environment and view. Will have to return to try the food and do the tour. This is worth a visit.
We came all the way from Oklahoma and the self guided tours were closed today, so that was a huge disappointment. Other than that, fun place and good ice cream.
I really cannot say enough good things about Chaney's! The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing and the ice cream even better! The farm tour was interesting and enjoyable. We will definately visit again soon!!!

This is a fun little place. My wife and I came on a rainy day, but we were able to drive down to the barn for the tour $4. It is a little short but very interesting. Worth the money. Ice cream seems to be the claim to fame and it was also very good We didn't eat but a good bunch were.
