I had the best experience today! First, had a fantastic meal and service from our server Kay. Then to make it even more special, had a very motivational and inspiring hand written message from Kay on the back of our ticket. She shared her reason for trying to bring joy to others and we couldn't thank her enough for her strength and determination despite the struggles she endures. Please visit when you can. And I pray that you get Kay. But they all are super nice. ?❤️
I've never had Waffle House's dinner/lunch options. Their breakfast is always done Exactly how I ordered it. The All-Star Special is the best bang for your buck. They can Make cherry or vanilla Pepsi/Coke (I suddenly have forgotten which pop brand they serve). Their coffee is Good--not too bitter. You get to see your food being made, if you sit at the bar. The menu is pretty simple, easy to read.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seating is minimal - - either at the bar, or one of 3 booths (at this location; other locations may have restricted their seating differently). You pay at the register when you're done. You can get a drink to go on your way out the door, free of charge, if you ask for it and you ordered a drink with your meal. I've never ordered carry-out, so I can't speak to how that is.
The service can definitely improve. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are sitting at the coffee bar, have patients and only want waffles, bc everything is just going to get delivered to your table one at a time on different plates.. Which can be frustrating when there is more than one person at the table with you. after that if you need anything you have to go to the counter and ask for it, refills, boxes, even the check. I normally only go here when everything else is closed. It seems like every waffle house ive been to has poor service. The people are nice, just not trained properly.
The waitress was by far one of the worst I've ever had! My elderly mother and I waited 10 minutes for her to clean a table (my mother couldn't get up on the bar stool-like chairs) there was only one occupied table in the restaurant the entire time we were there. Every table and the counter were dirty. After we ordered ahe disappeared. Then our food came....my eggs were still raw and clear so they had to be made again.....came back raw again. When it was time to pay our bill, some lady )who came in to chat with the waitress and was cleaning trash up off the floor)floor) asked the waitress right in front of us how much tip we left her and she held up one finger....as if to say $1. Well.....that was the ONLY thing she got right!
I see my food about to come out an they messed up on my hashbrowns after I waited 10 minutes for hem to clean the grill which I didn't mind, an they left my sandwich on the Togo plate took the hashbrowns off an put the stuff I wanted in them an then didn't even add everything an gave me the food an I asked if it had what I asked an she said yes an I took her work an it was wrong cold sandwich an I even tiped 10 bucks after all that an my coffee was given to me an didn't ask or give me sugar or cream. Hopefully it was just a bad day for my servi es
Burnt over cooked hash browns and then got my waffle yelp over cooked. Could not eat it was hard. Waitress had play with jukebox. Pitiful!

Employees always friendly . I realize everything has went up. But when 1 waffle is almost $5. My option lower the prices an advertise . Something might get started
