don't forget to put sauce on your pizzas. ruined 2 pizzas cause they had no sauce
Comparing places is always subjective BUT this place is as close to Imo's in St Louis as any place I have been since I left there in 1984. It's stand alone pizza; not thick or thin, New York or Chicago style. The only way to describe it is apart from anywhere else except Imo's. The word delicious was coined to describe this stuff. We also got wings and garlic cheese bread. Both were superb.I messed up and called the wrong Ziggy's. The staff corrected my error with aplomb. My ride showed up about the time our order was ready. She ordered a beer, something that slightly delayed our departure. Without asking, the staff helpfully kept our order warm in the kitchen until we were ready to go. Last, the beer itself was remarkable. 20 oz.of beer in an icy mug. Not frosted, icy. Such a deal. There is no need for us to look anywhere else for pizza in Wichita. Thanks to the servers and kitchen for a memorable dinner and introduction to Wichita.
My son took me here for Mother’s Day gift. I had heard about how good their pizza was. This pizza was probably the best pizza ever. We also had the sampler which was tasty as well. Our server was attentive and nice.
best pizza, better than Chain prices are great. nice atmosphere love having pizza on the patio.
Accommodated a large group of 20 or so of us during peak hours & we didn't have to wait too long for service / food. Excellent customer service & friendly staff. Brought out all of our tabs all at once which was nice too.
This College Hill location for Ziggy's will always be my favorite. Once you get done with the parking (which might be bad if it's a busy time of day since it's a small, tight area with a lot of places), the patio is awesome for a nice dinner or drink outside, and the inside (while not the best for a large group) just has that unqiue local college hill feel to it.When it comes to the food, Ziggy's has a solid menu that includes some great specialty pizzas. I like the Big Time Pepperoni (a great go to) Kickin' Chicken (tasty with a little heat), and White Delight (that cream cheese sauce tho). They also have a lot of other menu options besides pizza. While I haven't tried every item on the menu, I've liked all that I've tried, whether it's the cheesy garlic bread, bone-in buffalo wings, or Joe's Float (root beer float). In addition to their food menu, they also have a solid drink menu, including a lot of local beer options.I definitely recommend checking out any of the Ziggy's locations, but this one is a good one for those visiting Wichita (or even for a local that hasn't been) to get one of the more unique local experiences. And while you're in the area, there's a lot of other awesome places to stop at.
BEST CRUST EVER and friendly atmosphere
great food from a local small business. the Ziggy blend wings are awesome
Great dining experience, both my buddy Zach and mines first time eating at this establishment. I ate a chef’s salad with ranch and one of the delicious chicken sandwiches with bbq chips,Zach had the same sandwich with jalapeño chips. Our bill including two soft drinks was $33.xx, I paid $60.00 leaving our flawless server Let’s call her “B” a much earned tip. She, even tho extremely busy bc numerous tables in her section were at max occupancy was completely on top of her game.she was polite and didn’t neglect a single customer. Overall I give this place 3.6 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant to all. Godbless! -Legend-
All hype little to no substance. Let’s get to it. The $7.99 cheesy garlic bread was a joke. It was literally the top slice of a hoagie bun cut into slices and toasted with cheese on top and served with canned pizza sauce. The server actually had the gall to call it Texas toast with cheese on top but clearly she has never seen Texas toast. Ick! The pizza menu had the run of the mill choices with albeit interesting names, but it was the same ole same ole you get everywhere. Prices were reasonable in this market. The dough seemed more like a bread dough and not really quite pizza dough and there was negligible amounts of sauce on both pizzas we tried. They are also shaped in rectangular shape, and my guess is because they don’t quite know how to toss dough. The edges are rolled to make the traditional edging seen on pizza and again probably because they don’t know how to get a pizza edge on it. Now for the flavor. I ordered a half veggie and half all meat )veg-n-out, meat me at ziggy’s respectively) and my husband ordered the taco pizza ( called the mamacita’s). The meat had great flavor yet again there was almost no sauce on the pie. The veggie tasted like nothing. And the taco pizza tasted like a salad. That’s the very best and most generous thing I can say about it. The service was fair and nothing special. Our server spent more time at the bar socializing with a barfly than tending her tables. The table next to me never got their order of ranch and she repeated went back and forth for items and kept forgetting what she was asked for. All in all I would not go out of my way to eat here when there are better options just up the road. It’s a pass for us on this one.
