This place was closed when we moved to the neighborhood in June. Now it's open and what a great treat. The food was incredible. I love a good hamburger: this one ranks as a top ten.Wine Dive offers a fine dining experience: cloth napkins, water carafe, fully stocked bar. My wife had not one but two Mojitos. She reported good things. I had coffee and our waitress, Donna, made a fresh pot.If you go here, make sure to get into her section. Donna's attendance and pleasant presence complete the Wine Dive experience.
Excellent food, with a few new menu options that were delicious. The Mahi-Mahi is an old favorite, and was as good as ever. New appetizers were delicious, and the caprese salad was exactly what it needed to be. Great cocktail and wine selections made for a very fun date night!
The Ahi Tuna Nachos by far are the Best in Wichita. It was great to enjoy them again. The Ribeye, cooked perfectly, the Sea Bass had the perfect texture both inside and out. On a bed or risotto that was a little slice of heaven. Great service, wonderful food, and great ambience.
Wine Dive is always one of my top choices in Wichita, and the newly renovated dining room and expanded space in the back room add to the venue. The staff is always great, especially Ashley, who works in the evenings. It appears the prices may have crept up a bit, but that shouldn't surprise anyone. It's still very good value.
Ordered the Asian sandwich (Bahn mi) with chicken, not bad, sauce was too much, mayo based. Paid an extra $3 for seasonal veggies instead of fries for a healthier side....should have stuck with the fries, would have been less oil/butter.Bread was buttered & griddles for a decent crisp, sandwich was overwhelmed with a mayo based sauce. Seasonal vegetables drenched in oil & butter, order and pay extra for a vegetable side, & greasing than most fries.Underwhelmed overall.
Emily was an absolute joy to have as our server. She was very helpful with us making choices. We started with the drunken bread which was gooey goodness. My husband had the Ahi Tuna served with Asian risotto and topped with a carrot slaw. I had the Peppercorn crusted Steak Frites Au Poivre served with a wild mushroom marsala sauce and pomme frites. Both dishes were wonderful but would love a little more excitement that spices bring. For dessert we shared the chocolate flourless tort al a mode with a Espresso martini to top off the evening. Everything was nearly perfect. Ask for Emily!
Salad w/chicken was not very good. Chicken strips/chunks were all dried out & inedible.
Fantastic food and atmosphere! The staff was so accommodating and took such great care of our large party. We had excellent service. We will definitely be back! We all loved the sâmores!
We love wine dive! We had an awesome experience and will absolutely be going back!
The salmon in the salmon wrap was overcooked and very dry. Their drink menu doesn’t have all their drinks on it and says to pull up the rest of their website listed. I ordered a drink and when I got the bill, the price charged was higher than was listed. When I brought this to their attention they informed me that pricing online might not be updated. I was still charged the full amount and they said they would “take a look at the online menu”. If you’re instructing your customers to use the online menu, then it should be kept updated. The rest of the table had no problems. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles which was very good. I just wish this wasn’t the first experience I had with this restaurant.
