One of the wait staff acted like a manager but was a jerk because he would not look at me or my family in the eye when I asked to be in a specific booth he purposely put us in the center of the restaurant. The only good reason on this specific location is the waitress was awesome so that is where the three stars come into the picture.

We tried Ihop and Denny's and they were horrible. We called village in and they were only place that answered! Coming here the staff was great! The gm (older with nice button up red shirt and assuming he's gm) was greeting ppl at the door and was great! Our waitress was super sweet, fast and the food tasted amazing! Our kids are picky eaters and loved every bite. Definitely returning to this amazing location.

I’m from Kansas City, and the Village Inn in KC is my FAVORITE. I usually get the Rio Grande skillet. But apparently this location doesn’t have any of the supplies to make this dish, very disappointing. So I called ahead and ordered 1 meal, and I was told it would be done in 10 minutes. When I arrived, I was told I had to wait for my 1 to go order to be fixed because they’re still making a order for a table of TEN people. Kind of confused as to why I could get my ONE to go meal, and have to wait longer than the 10 minutes I was told, making me LATE to work. Very disappointed. I only gave 3 stars because I like the Village Inn in KC.

This is always the V.I. my husband & I visit. We came in yesterday 6/26/2022 early morning time probably around 9. I wish I could remember our waitress’ name but she was great. Such a kind lady & totally on top of everything. You can tell she works very hard & cares about ensuring her tables are taken care of. I always get the incredible V.I.B I think is what it’s called, & it is PERFECT. The biscuit + gravy was incredible too. Shout out to the cooks, the servers & the greeters who wait up front. Everyone is always kind there. 10/10 recommend. Also their coffee is FIRE. Thanks again V.I. For always being on point, we will be back for pie very soon :)

I really enjoyed Father's Day brunch at Village Inn. My entire family was happy with what we got. There's something for everyone here. The service and value were excellent. I would go back.

We were seated...4 parties after us were served coffee/water...10 minutes later, we left...Not 1 person approached our table....1 server looked right at us 4x...As we left, 2 employees looked at us and said "oh"....We just said "thanx" and left...I'm sure it's a decent place overall, just can't confirm..I'd leave a zero if I could for our experience, but obviously I can't....To bad, looked like a good place

I've always seen these Village Inn's, but never ate at one until that day. I can say it was good. I know different people have different tastes, but the food was good ,the wait staff was friendly, had a great attitude and made sure we all had what we needed for a great dining experience. Places like this aren't for everyone, but I'll go back. Keep up the good work Village Inn. ?

So I ordered two steak and egg breakfasts for pickup in which my order was not correct. I called back and spoke to a manager. The manager apologized and told me I would receive a free breakfast due to the fact I was home and inconvenienced. She stated all I had to do was give my name. About a week later I called to order what was promised to me. The manager on shift was rude basically calling me a liar stating they only mail out meal coupons. I am furious and inconvenienced twice!

This is not our first visit to the restaurant, but it may well be our last. We arrived at 06:25, there were two other people in the place. We placed our order at 6:36 according to our receipt. Between us placing our orders other people entered the restaurant. At 6:57 our food arrived. When we questioned where our food was. We were told other people had also placed orders. The people the waitress pointed to came in after us. As a secret shopper for another organization, I know what to look for. The excises did not hold water. Either the people were new or just didn't care it was hard to say which. I had ordered Ham and two eggs. The ham and eggs were lukewarm at best, definitely not hot as we should have expected having had to wait for so long. My wife ordered the breakfast skillet, again the food was lukewarm, her biscuit that should have been hot was was cold. Okay, it is not the Ritz, but at least try to serve hot food.

The staff at this village inn are very friendly. I’ve never had to wait for a table when I’ve gone. The food is great quality for the price. For your babies they have both slings and high chairs available for use. There are tv’s around that are usually on the weather channel when I’m there on Sunday mornings. The staff even offer drinks to go at the end of our meal in cups that are much bigger than most places.
