Brisket was marbled & charred just right with a great hickory flavor went well the sauces. All three sauces were mouth watering for sure the mild had a lighter pour and not as tart. Mac & cheese was creamy delight and the mashed potatoes had the skins left on, yum! Check out their other location too?Follow Tobes Brisket Challenge for more national barbecue reviews…?
Guess I have never been to a restaurant the the waitress would argue with you. With in order a beer, she asked for ID then couldn't tell how old i was, then proceeded to argue about it. If you can't do basic math, I don't need to give you my business. The reason how do I know that my bill will be right and my change from my bill be right.
I’m not impressed, seems more worth it to drive all the way to Greenwich to get decent portions let alone what I wanted as they did not follow the request on my order even though I live closer to this location. Not to mention the rude waitress that gave my order to my son who was retrieving it because I’m disabled, there’s no amount of make up that can change that ugly attitude. I shouldn’t have even tipped on my order considering what service she provided was walking to the kitchen and back with the order and being little Miss Judge Judy. Skimming down on protein portions and doubling carbohydrates is definitely not a win. I will make the drive next time, smaller location but much better service, quality/quantity for my money and attitude all around.
Being new to the Wichita area, I wanted to try some more “local” places and stumbled upon this restaurant. I looked like a refurbished Applebee’s the BBQ and sauce were just okay nothing I’d write home or insist someone ate there. I got a side of jambalaya, one of my all time favorite dishes, and it was HIGHLY disappointing as it resembled a stew with no rice.
Terrible bartender or management. I only got served one green beer in 20 minutes. I sat at the bar with the intentions of having 2 beers and an Irish breakfast. Didnt happen. To go order was ready. All the waiters and waitresses were standing around while the bartender did their job. The cornbeef and bangers were Awesome. Just not sure the place is managed well. Not going back next St. Patrick's Day!!
Good place with great service! The brisket was tasty and the sauces were all very good. One of my ribs was good and the other was very tough for some reason. The cole slaw was average, I also had fried okra which was also okay, it was an item from a frozen bag so nothing special. I’d definitely try this place again on future trips to Wichita.
Quality food across the board very impressive for a brunch, normally quality is compromised when in buffet form, no compromise here, just great food
I am highly disappointed... I had them cater my wedding and it was impeccable... That was 2011... But when I got a loaded spud i was appalled! The ratio of meat was like 4 bites at least and then a whole bucket of sour cream wich i asked for no sour cream... They gave me my money back hence the 3 stars but anyone eating here... Do not get the loaded spuds until they understand portions better... In the picture top left is the meat top right is the sour cream and bottom is the potato... To all the pregnant ladies who are craving a loaded spud please avoid the aggression and go for hog wild or McAlister's... Honestly though this is a BBQ restaurant, how do you not know how to make a proper loaded spud!?!
Ribs seem undercooked. Meat wouldn't come off the bone. A BBQ establishment with multiple locations should be able to consistently make good fall off the bone ribs. Hot links were good. Salad bar was the only thing keeping this review away from a 1 star review but I didn't go here for salad bar. Garlic bread was dry. BBQ sauces and seasoning was all pretty good but you gotta get ribs right if you're in the BBQ business guys.
possibly my favorite place in Wichita for bbq plus the customer service as also the best I've had in the city
