Good & quick... good portions.Wish there were pics of what the items were before you got up to the counter to order... I didn't know portion sizes or what to expect, since it was our 1st visitDidn't have any margaritas but I've heard from others that they are really good.I think it would be a nice place to go with a first date or young couples.
Love their food! Had the American and their wonderful Queso!! Hard choice because I really like the Fried Avocado! Their Rum drink is amazing!!????
If you are vegan or vegetarian, beware. The beyond beef tacos are marketed on the menu as follows: COWBOY-STYLE BEYOND BEEF® TOPPED WITH GREEN CHILES, GRILLED CORN, PEPPADEW PEPPERS, FRESH AVOCADO, CILANTRO AND DIABLO SAUCE. SERVED ON A CORN TORTILLA.However my order arrived with a handful of shredded cheese on top. I asked for a new taco (I didn't want cheese nor is it listed as a topping on their menu) The server seemed annoyed at my request. My husband jokingly said, "they'll probably just scrape the cheese off the top" And sure enough I received the same taco not 20 seconds later, still with bits of shredded cheese throughout as well as shredded chicken (I'm assuming they scraped off the cheese, or cook the beyond beef with cross-contaminated utensils)
I am here to write my review on Torchy’s Tacos west Wichita. Let me start From the beginning. When Torchy’s first opened up, I decided to give it a try and I was not impressed. The tacos took 15 minutes or longer and my tacos were cold. Each taco is around $5 and to pay that for a cold taco was no bueno! A few months went by and I decided to give it a Second try and still the same results taco was cold and not fresh. I have not been back to Torchy’s until last week during a promotional event. There were long lines and as I was walking up I thought to myself this was going to take a while and even longer than before. I will admit I was wrong. The line went very fast and I got my food shortly after ordering it. The tacos were fresh and hot and tasted exceptionally. I brought a few friends and family members the next few days during their promotion. The same results of great satisfaction and smiles were brought to their face. Today, I decided to go try it one more time to see if the results would be anything different after their promotional event. I was impressed. The food was fresh and hot and very tasty. I will be back every week and you have earned a new customer. I look forward to train many different tacos and look forward to the next months featured taco. Thank you for changing my mind!
***Gold Review*** This is hands down one of the BEST taco places here in Wichita. It isn't basic at all, so many unique food options. The tacos are absolutely delicious and flavorful. You can order tacos with or without the shell. Without a shell, they will make them as a bowl for you. I saw meatless options on the menu as well. Their chips and queso are fire! The drinks are more than adequate. 2 would stop you from driving home. They also have a kids menu. The restaurant itself has a very modern feel. They keep it very clean. The bathrooms are nice. They have inside seating. There is also a lovely covered patio area where you can sit outside. They have a drive thru as well. I would definitely go here anytime. This kicks Fuzzy'a Tacos to the curb. Of the 2, Torchy's is the clear winner!
First time checking out torchy's tacos.#1 very clean restaurant amazingly clean#2 we received an order of queso and chips free because of my son's birthday yeah#3 the tacos were awesome I had the tipsy chick and it was fabulous and this was not the first time for my son so he said his taco was absolutely delicious too so thanks for a great lunch#4 for real the queso almost beat me to the table, I just barely put my butt on the seat and she was bringing out our queso and chipsWas impressed with the servers too they were very friendly keep up the good work
Great tasting tacos that are complex in flavor, delicious queso with fresh avocado and the tortilla chips are thin and crispy. The picture below was plenty. One taco and an order of chips and queso. Fills me up.
Shout out to this Torchy’s especially during this promotion of free taco and queso! All staff was friendly and they did a great job of getting people in and out. I have never been in a cleaner restaurant!! I tried several different tacos. My favs were the breakfast egg, cheese, and chorizo and the green Chile pork! The queso is amazing!! Good way to show off this place thru this promotion! I WILL be back. Thank you!!!!
Such a great time tonight at Torchys! Tacos, chips and queso and margaritas all excellent! The manager Ashley was amazing and took care of a drink issue we had. If you’ve been and had a bad experience come back and try it again- you won’t regret it
