Overall: I have lived in Wichita for most of my life and have heard many good reviews from friends and coworkers about this restaurant but never visited. Let just say I should have listened to them sooner. The food was delicious.Service: This is an order and pay first so no wait staff. The food was prepared quickly during lunch hours no less.Food: I ordered the pad kee mao and the sauce and flavor was overflowing. My mouth got a beating from multiple flavors. You have to try it out for yourself.Drink: No drinks ordered.The Bad: Nothing at the moment.
Look, its a hole in the wall Thai place. Don't expect anything other than a place that has 3 tables where there is just enough room to eat and 2 counter stools. (Update: Seating is no longer an option). You can watch them cook your food if you dine in. Not because they cook it at your table, but rather its literally so small you just look over and you can see them cooking it. But, the food is excellent. Everything I have tried there has been extremely delicious. The family that runs is pretty darn awesome too. Dine in or carry out just make sure you get there early cause they don't say open late. Kind of a bummer.
My husband and I were in the area and decided to try something new since we'd never had Thai food before. This establishment was close to our other destinations in town and had really positive reviews, so we gave it a try. I am so glad we did! The food was fantastic, and the service was very nice. They gave us exactly what we ordered, including making my fried rice mild. (Hey, I'm brave, but I have my limits!) Prices were very reasonable for the quality and the amount of food you get.The only downside for us is that it's carry-out only, and since we were traveling, we had to eat in our truck. Even so, we're already planning on going again the next time we're in town. (Oh, and on that note: they pack the food very well. Our leftovers made it all the way home with no saucy spills!)Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Great take out. If you don't like hot food, remember to order your meals as "mild"Fast and friendly service, easy access and plenty of parking.
The order and pickup process was okay and the staff were nice but the food was seriously sub-par!Note: I've only ordered from here once but the food that I got (Pad Thai) was So bland that I swear the cook must be from England!! ?I don't think I will be spending any more money here just to find out if the experience will be better the second time...(if I do I will update this).
Rumor had it that Harrison Ford himself loves this Thai restaurant and sure enough, they had photos of him visiting. Now that I've had the food, I can see why he loves it. Absolutely fantastic Thai food. Everything we ordered was incredible!
Best Thai food in town by a long shot and always a great value. Their heat is great and provides a good, slow burn instead of just trying to assault your taste buds. Only issue is that size seems inconsistent across orders. Often order for the office and the same # cooked around the same time will be differently sized.
Customer service is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we were given the wrong order. Once we got home and noticed, we called the restaurant, and asked for a refund because it would take us 20 minutes to get back there. We were told we had to go back to get the right order; then we would only be refunded for a portion of the order. Food may be good, but if the customer service is unacceptable, then I would not recommend to anyone. Especially when the person on the phone was arguing with my wife. Go at your own risk and check your order, because customer service is NOT their top priority.
Great Thai food. Hot is hot as in spicy. It's a go to Thai spot when I don't feel like cooking. Pad Thai is amazing.
I didn't regret my visit here. Both the food and resto appearance are great. Gonna come back here soon.
