I adore this place! It’s my favorite restaurant can you believe it. I love the bean tostada, Super taco burger W/onions and extra cheese, and combo burrito double the filling. I go about 2xs a year & I must go more often!Food is always fresh the lettuce is crisp.*I have no complaints. And the folks working there are equally as delightful
I've been eating Taco shop for over 35 years it's a great place to eat the food is great and the food is not very expensive
I have never left a negative review but I feel like some constructive criticism is needed. I have always loved Taco Shop's food, that is not the issue. For dinner my 4 year old says "I want tacos" so I go to Taco Shop to get us all some tacos. I pull into the drive thru and start to wait... and wait. After 10 minutes the line still hasn't moved and I can't leave the drive thru line because someone has pulled in behind me. Finally after 14 minutes the line moves. Then another 10 before it moves again. By the time I get to the order window it's been 40 minutes, and now I only have an hour before my kid's bedtime and still no dinner. I order a 12 pack of tacos and get told "we don't have anymore taco shells. We've been out of them. I can still get you the tacos but we don't have any shells to put them in." That's Taco Shop's go-to alternative? 12 balls of meat, cheese, and lettuce wrapped in paper? I respond with "Do you have flour tortillas you can put them in? Like a soft taco?" "I'm not sure, lemme check and see." Maybe I'm being unreasonable but if your name is Taco Shop and you haven't been able to make tacos then I expect the staff to at least be knowledgeable about alternative solutions. After waiting 40 min just to order, I can tell you that a wrapped up ball of meat and cheese is not a great first alternative. I mean, surely I'm not the first person to have this problem tonight. By this point I was very frustrated, and I didn't want to ruin my Friday night with my family by waiting another 30 min to get a bunch of cheese-meat balls. Luckily there's a bail-out point where you order, so I was able to leave and go to Taco Tico, which took 10 minutes. I can understand supply issues, but if you're going to have a drive thru that blocks you in, coupled with completely insane wait-times, maybe you should put a sign up that you're out of the one thing everyone expects you to have? And maybe make the shell-less taco your last alternative, not the first.
This place has great prices and an extremely friendly staff. I was surprised they have habanero sauce. Ad se cool vending machines. I love the chicken and egg vending machine
I was a virgin to the Taco Shop in Wichita, until today. So far, so good. There were about 7 or 8 cars in line wrapped around the building and they moved everyone quickly! I was super impressed. When it was my turn to order, the girl taking the order was super friendly and prompt. When I got to the window, she saw I had a fur baby and asked if my dog could have a treat! Love this. I got my food and was on my way. I'm out sitting on my back deck now enjoying my Taco Shop grub. Thr Hot Sauce is on point and so far the food is great! Thanks Taco Shop for Rocking Shocker Town!
Love this Taco Shop, we go weekly. Food is always fresh and the dining room is clean! It's a cheap place to feed a gaggle of kids!
I love this place! It's always really affordable and so good! We just drove through with our dog and the guy at the window gave him a dog treat despite my dog barking at him ? Such nice people!
Not bad food at a good price.An observation that I want to share is it was drive-thru only. The lobby was closed due to shortage in staffing is what the hand written sign said. Yet, I saw 4 employees inside. Three were busting their hup in the kitchen taking and making orders. They there was one wo was cleaning the seating area. Why?He wasn't busting his hump like the others were. He was barely doing anything and why??The reason I write this is because, like all the other patrons in line, we waited in a long drive-thru line to order and get our orders. It wasn't that quick either. The kitchen staff was doing very good with the pressure and stress they had. I wish I knew why the other guy still has a job.
I ordered the pork taco salad, cherry empanada (? Spelling) & a soda. Should not have ordered from taco shop. I got food poisoning. I'm not ordering here again.
Always liked the food here but service was terrible. Who ever wrapped the food up did a terrible job, most of it was loose in the bottom of the sack. Don’t think I will visit this location again.
