Inadvertently eavesdropped this morning as a "Team Leader" gave a restaurant worker her review in the dining room where I was eating breakfast.Boss Lady (looks to be around 21 years old) docks employee (looks to be around 50) points on her evaluation and is explaining she "...does not contribute equally to the team" because she "...always leaves exactly when the schedule says your shift is over no matter how busy we are..." and "...none of the rest of us do that..."???Ummmmm... I'd get docked points if I worked here too, I guess.My time is MY time.
The food was outstanding and the 50s diner feel was spot on. We left feeling very satisfied with our meal. We will definitely be coming back here if we are ever in the Wichita area again.
Felt like I was interrupting the assistant manager who was working and took my order.As I was saying "Number one, medium sized, for here, please." I had barely made it through "medium" before she scowled at me "For here or to go?"My foot's currently broken, so I was visibly hobbling about in my boot. And it's not a requirement that someone being me my food, but Spangles is known for doing so if they're not too busy. Pretty helpful when you're foot is broken.I was one of two people in the restaurant, and the same manager looks me dead in the eye to call me across the restaurant when my order was ready.Whatever, lady. Sorry my presence ruined your day. Then my fry definitely seemed less than medium, and while the burger wasn't burnt, it was definitely past being considered juicy.
Nice place with great food. Great friendly staff! Loved how the manager (do not recall her name) was being positive and thanking her staff! That doesn't happen to often nowadays!
The last 2 times I tried to order chicken strips for my kiddo, he couldn't eat them, the outside was hard and the chicken was like rubber. The total for me and my 2 kids to eat was $38! For food that had to be thrown away. The workers are always friendly and they get the order right, which is why I gave 2 stars.The fact you can get a screwdriver from the drive-thru is crazy (to me) We have enough problems with people drinking and driving in this town, now we have drive thru ready made vodka drinks. Crazy.
Came here with our scout troop on our way to the Comosphere and we all got full without breaking the bank!Recommend the classic meal for most. You get a mudslide for free. For the massively hungry they have 7 patty burger.Fun, retro 50's themed everything.We had a large group and everyone's order came out hot and correct without much wait!Parmisan fries, wings, ice-cream, and adult beverages too!Can't speak to the adult beverages, but everything we had was great, especially for the price.The staff was on point.Clean bathrooms, just 1 at a time unless your parent of a little one.
Classic American burger joint with a 50s flair. A tradition in Wichita since I was a kid. This lication has been here for decades. Staff is always friendly, and food always fresh!
Got an interview and called back everyday after the fact and the GM gabbi wouldnt even talk to me, they said they’d call me but I waited a couple days and guess what… no call. So I called again and they apparently “decided to pass” on me. GM isnt nice what so ever and I wouldn’t recommend ever trying to work here. Horrible place for food and and customer service is absolutely horrible as well.
Omg this was the best experience Ive had here, the drive thru person Lacey was so kind and my fries were hot and I loved it I’m coming back for sure
Mushroom burger so greasy,could not eat but a few bites. They used to be good.
