First time trying this place. While the wings were okay, the fries were barely luke warm at best. My grandson ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and it had hardly any sauce on it at all.Took my cup to the drink station to get sweet tea and all of their tea containers that already been emptied and cleaned out for the night.That being said, I like to wash my hands before I eat, we got there at 8:00 and were told that the bathrooms were closed for the evening as they had already been cleaned. They don't close until 10:00 p.m.???I can understand they probably wanted to be able to leave when they closed at 10:00 I get that but it was only eight.
I went here for the first time and I didn't have the greatest experience by any means but I spoke to the manager whose name is Michael and he has recently stepped in as the new manager. I just want to let anyone and everyone know that thinking about going to slim chickens definitely go because they are running this place very good and especially with Michael behind the wheel! Thank you Michael for the great experience that you gave me and my family see you next time.
Been there a couple of times. Food is good. The peach tea is sweeter than I like but fresh. My first visit I thought it was comparable to a fast food chicken sandwich. The second time was better, more restaurant quality.
We had 5 orders they were all cold… fries were not seasoned! Very surprised! If you don’t go during a busy time or at lunch, the food is cold!!! Third time I’ve ordered after lunch… food very EVERY time. Disappointed… I was very hungry too.
The place is expensive. I got a three by three. It actually was five boneless pieces that collectively were three three regular pieces. The three wings were one drummet and two smaller wing pieces. The fries were plentiful. The bottle dessert was about $1.50 too high. The drink was good. The bread was good. I was hoping for better. I will not be back.
Mixed review. Love the chicken, adore the fried mushrooms, and the fries are usually good. But potato salad and coleslaw are awful. The coleslaw was really bitter. We threw it away. The potato salad tasted like over-seasoned mashed potato mixed with sour cream, bacon and chives. That was tossed too. Luckily the chicken was great so we will be back. But we will stick to chicken and fries and shrooms. If we hadn't tried the coleslaw and potato salad I would have given them 5 stars.
We arrived just before 9 pm. The restaurant was empty, but thankfully they were open. The dining room was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had my grandson with us. In true infant style, he swiftly grabbed a glass jar of baby food and threw it on the floor, making a mess. The staff was so kind and happy to clean it up quickly for us. They brought out all of our food quickly. It was hot and fresh. They checked on us frequently and were eager to provide great service. Slim Chickens is quickly becoming one of our favorites for delicious, fast and fresh "sit down" flavor with great service! We look forward to returning soon!
I would not recommend this place we ordered 2- six piece Wing meals, they were $12 a piece, the fries were not crunchy and the wings were not wings they were mini wings and when I say mini I mean very small it was definitely not worth 12 bucks. Will not go back, you can get wings at Pizza Hut for a lot less price for the same amount of mini wings, fries and a drink does not justify the price. On the upside the barbecue sauce was the bomb
We ordered a three piece chicken strip basket with okra and Mac& cheese as our sides.. chicken didn't have much taste, the Texas toast was way over toasted and my mac & cheese was about a 2 on a scale of 1-5. It was around 5:30. They were not real busy but was steady. I doubt I would go back any time soon.
Food here was freaking awesome! Would definitely go back again some day
