My husband and I saw another review and decided to try it. When I tell you it's the best sushi we have had I am not kidding. Not just the sushi but the appetizers and lunch bento box was amazing!
You definitely pay for what you get and get what you pay for. Great service, amazing food, and decent portions. They use high quality ingredients including the fish. Absolutely recommend the Thai iced tea and tofu curry. Sushi is excellent in general. For those wondering how an inland restaurant can have good sushi: they are definitely purchasing sushi quality cuts of fresh flash frozen fish and treating them well. There is pretty much no difference since it preserves the freshness perfectly.As with any place serving fish, busy is a good thing and these guys were packed Saturday night.
First time eating here. The atmosphere is very classy and is reflected upon the food presentation. Service is fast and friendly. The food is fresh and prepared to the customers liking. I ordered the sashimi dinner and was super impressed with the variety of fish. I ordered a glass of the plumb wine and was not disappointed. The crab rangoon are some of the absolute best I've eaten in a long time.
Sapporo Japanese Sushi restaurant was a real fine treat for dinner. With the feel of fine dinning but at an affordable price this place was definitely a place to stop if your traveling though the Wichita are and have a craving for good Japanese food or sushi. They had a good selection of food, full bar and the staff was quick, friendly and observing for refills and removing empty plates. The restaurant was busy but not packed. I would highly recommend this place! Coke and Dr. Pepper products.

Mediocre service, maybe due to short staff?Appetizers were good. Sashimi as good as the freshness of the fishes. In this case, as fresh as possible in the middle of nowhere. Looked forward to the Toro, wasn’t wowed, definitely tasted the fattiness but not able to call that a “wagyu of the ocean” experience.Arguably the best sushi place in Wichita, coming from an Asian who grew up in Asia, enjoying sushi and sashimi.
Very good food. Love their fried rice and the kellogg roll and angel roll. They got renovated from the last time we ate their. Love the new update and ambiance.
Got seated pretty much right away.This is a nice place hidden in a junky looking parking lot.Food was delicious, service was average.Not a whole lot of tables, but it seemed like there was maybe only two servers.Staff was helping each other out.I made sure to tip well.Prices are fair.Nice ambiance.Only complaint is that the ratio of space between the back of the bench to the front of the table is huge.Like, if you lean back, you can't eat, and if you lean forward, there's about 3 ft of space behind you.Felt odd.

We were told this is the best Japanese place in Wichita and they weren't kidding. Everything we had was perfect and makes us realize what we've already been eating is sub-par.
