Recently visited Redrock Canyon Grill for a birthday dinner and I have to say it was a great experience from start to finish. Our waiter ( I believe his name was Josh) gave our party excellent customer service the entire time. Not only did he give our party a great experience but also took time to take some pictures of us so we have even more of a memorable moment but i also noticed management checking on tables as well to ensure other tables were having a greag experience. Not to mention the food was excellent as well. We will be recommending this place and be back in the very neat future.
In Witchita for a few weeks and promised myself to avoid chain/franchise restaurants. So glad I did. I found the place and it is fantastic. Service was top notch. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. But the food really made the evening. A fire grilled pork chop with hints of apple and an onion compote served with mashed red potatoes and corn. Just perfectly put together. Be sure to leave dessert space. And, I can't believe I'm writing this... try the carrot cake.
Visited today for lunch. Meals were fine but I found a large piece of white plastic (a potato bag clip) in my mashed potatoes. The server took them back and replaced them. When the manager brought the replacement, she didn’t even apologize. The server said she was sorry and that the chef said they’d be more careful in the future. I was surprised that they didn’t remove the charge for the potatoes, but I was still charged full price. Aside from that, the food tasted good and our server was sweet.
I sometimes have the meatloaf and it's been good in past years, but recently something very different about it is quite noticeable, a zingy bite, not spicy like peppers or vinegar, more like the zing from MSG when it's added to foods. Try green beans fixed "southern seasoning style' and you'll know what I mean, they put MSG in the bean dish to give it a lift, really zingy. I would rather not eat MSG and won't order the meatloaf again, I'll spend more and have a steak or chicken. Meatloaf is supposed to be comfort food and when it's zinging and popping on my palate I don't feel very comfortable. Also, the service can be exceptional, just on top of everything and done exactly in a very pleasing way. Yesterday however, was not that type of service. It was terse and speech-like, "HI I'm _______ AND I"LL BE YOUR SERVICE TODAY WHAT CAN I START YOU WITH TO DRINK", I had to ask for a repeat of what he said which didn't seem to be appreciated since it was said so quickly and matter of fact style, and at 345pm the place was not at all busy. I did notice, after placing my order, the young man spent quite a long time visiting with the two cute front door host girls before turning in my order and he saw me looking at him and quickly hurried to place the order. Other times, the wait staff is impeccable. I'd rather be able to say, bring me a great server and then we can begin.
Great Dinning Experience !
Impressive wait staff and several food runners to bring drinks and meals to the table. Relaxing atmosphere. Food was just okay. Perhaps I should have ordered steak or salmon as those had good reviews. I tried a chicken and sausage combo. Chicken was good but only 2 small pieces. Sausage didn’t have much flavor or spice. Cesar salad wasn’t really Caesar dressing and some lettuce was brown. No bread, only corn bread and that crumbled and not moist or warm.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go in Wichita! They have super good service and super good food every time along with a very nice atmosphere. I've never had anything untasteful here! #1!
Happy hour was great! Crunchy calamari and huge shrimp. The food was good, the chicken is the best and the portions are big so we got leftovers. We love the key lime pie but you need to love tart desserts to order that one.
One of the best restaurants Wichita Kansas has to offer unbelievable food the staff is wonderful the amount of food you get it’s very well portioned out. I am going to recommend this to anybody that comes in to Wichita Kansas you have to try this restaurant is fantastic I’m from Dallas Texas and this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ate so far and I’ve been here for almost 5 days.
Great atmosphere, definitely high end, great quality food. I love the fact the food is prepared visible to patrons. Staff is well attentive. Second location we have been too. Definitely worth the extra for a well desired well prepared meal. Oh, do try the bread pudding for desert, oh so very good.
