We dined in at 5pm on a Thursday and there were only a couple of other people there. The service was good, but the menu had no descriptions of what was in the items. I ordered a Wichita Burrito and a Chimichanga. The chimichanga came with a full plate of food as where the Wichita burrito had no sides. The Wichita Burrito was vegetarian but only had beans, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and rice with no seasoning from what I could tell. The chimichanga's meat was also not very well seasoned and was fairly bland. My brother-in-law ordered something with the same meat and agreed that it was lacking. My husband loved the Steak Picado, which has jalepenos. Maybe next time I'll order something with steak.
The staff here are genuinely glad to see me. The food is delicious, particularly the Transmission Tacos and the Mexican Tacos Al Pastor. Portions are generous as well. This is in my top three Wichita treats.
Carne Asada Tacos & Transmission Tacos are my favorites. Great restaurant, great story, great longevity of quality even after they became known.
Got two burritos from there and they hit the spot. Would definitely recommend this place.
Everyone is so kind and the Carne asada fries are super delicious. Definitely try them if you haven't yet.
My co-workers and I got take out this week. And as usual, it was beyond good. I got my norm of Carne Asada Fries, the meat is so tender...melts in your mouth. Each bite better than the one before.
Everything I have tried has been fantastic. Call ahead to zip through the drive thru and use the pickup window on your way home - it doesn't get any faster or easier than that!
My favorite spot for carne asada tacos. Hands down. I come here way to much but can't complain for the food is too good not to come back day after day
