Panera Bread has entered the chicken sandwich war that's been going on in fast food and now fast casual since 2019 and they've brought a couple of pretty formidable sandwiches to the battle. I tried the Signature Take Chef's Chicken Sandwich. Featuring seasoned, seared chicken, a garlic aioli and Parmesan crisps with greens served on a Brioche roll, it's a good sandwich. Sadly, it was under-dressed, they were light handed with the garlic aioli, I didn't get Parmesan crisps in every bite and the roll needs to be toasted to put this sandwich into the 5 star category.
Went in at 6pm for dinner, and they were out of bread, out of chips, with the only other option being an apple. They gave us red delicious, aka, not delicious. So kind of a bummer with the sides.
First time to this Panera location and it was nice as most of them are. Service was friendly and the Chipotle Chicken Avacado Melt sandwich was very tasty. I was good and avoided the baked good they display very nicely near the register, nice try. :)
I went thru the drive thru, got a pick 2 of a caesar salad and chicken salad sandwich. My sandwich barely had chicken on it and it was mostly almonds. My salad was basically just plain lettuce with two crotons.The manager did give me more chicken salad after complaining but tried to tell me that was a normal amount, and was about an ice cream scoop amount. This post is more towards Panera bread in general and not necessarily this staff.Food use to be good here and worth the money but it's gone down.
Once and never again. Ok. Tell me what you think.My husband brought me lunch today from Panera Bread. He got me a sandwich and side of salad and bread. When he brought to me, the bag was sealed. And when I opened it, I saw this bread ( in the video). I was kinda confused bcuz I thought my daughter ate this and left for me?!? But the bag was sealed!!?? So I talked to my husband abt this and he said he got it as order, it was new , Mia didn't eat or touch it and it was sealed. So we called and complained abt this. Bcuz this bread looked so gross, it looked like someone ate it but didn't finish and just threw to the bag. But we got the answer that side bread was new. They just tore it and put in the bag like...that...nothing cover the bread, it was just in the bag with napkins and everything.We were like WOAA, i know even it was just a side but you couldn't give it a nice hand-cut!!?? Looked so gross. I didn't eat it and just threw it away. Who knows what happened to the bread ? .We pay for meal, we dont ask for free. You are the big store, you should do it better and more professional.
They was way more expensive than I thought, the portion sizes are way too small and most of it in terms of flavor was mediocre at best. Their new Classic Chicken Sandwich was a let down. It doesn't even come close to Chick-fil-A, Burger King or Popeyes chicken sandwich. The Chicken Noodle Soup was average also. The Chocolate chip muffin cookies were delicious, and the Mediterranean Bowl was flavorful! Most likely I will only come back if my girlfriend really wants to, but I'm not paying $55 like I did my 1st time through.
I answered the servers question to have my coffee and muffin here. she asked me 4x while I was waiting ... even putting it in to go sack. I said that's the fourth time you've asked, and she never once said I'm sorry I couldn't hear you or any other reason. she just stared at me. I already was feeling sad on Easter but to feel invisible and unheard was difficult. I hadn't been to panera in months so it made it even more unwelcoming as a solo diner. the muffin was dry and I love pumpkin muffins so much, but I didn't want to risk asking for a different one. I miss pumpkin bagels wish they could be brought back.
Me and my sisters ordered meals, and can I just say I will not eat here ever again. We did curbside, that took forever. I did the pick two cheese pizza and Mac. When I say there was no sauce and barely any cheese?. Like what did I do to yall really.
Always have problems with my order here. Made an online order for curbside pickup was there at the time to pick up, used the app to show i arrived, was the first arriving to this location . Waited 15 min and nothing , had to call in, they come outside , no apologies nothing for the wait. Had a gut filling I should check my order but did not because it was dark and my son was in a hurry to eat. I ordered $40 of food and drinks . Ordered a normal latte and a decaf latte. Arrived home the cups were exactly the same. Called in asking how to I know w one the decaf is and they passed to the manager that did not apologized, not offer to give another decaf or refund, he just said to me in a rude manner that I should taste both and that the decaf is bitter. Really?!! The location next to Wesley hospital is much better , don’t order pick up in this location.
1/17/2 update : Had dinner at about 6 pm.My daughter order grilled cheese and was told they were out of bread for grilled cheese. She then ordered mac and cheese. It was served as a side to my meal and was cold.The quality of service at this location has dramatically worsened since my last visit. Hopefully they improve soon.
