My husband and I ate here last night on our date night. A woman at a local boutique shop had actually recommended it to us and I’m so glad she did. It was a very comfortable cozy atmosphere. The hummus was awesome - it’s not of my favorite snacks and theirs did not disappoint. Our meals were also greens good portion sizes. I had a chicken artichoke pita and my husband had kebab meal.Our server was also perfect for us - I unfortunately cannot remember her name but she was nice and attentive without being intrusive. I really liked her - tall with short blonde hair.
My wife and I were in Wichita for the day and decided to eat at N&J cafe. I had the Chicken Kabob - lots of chicken. My wife had the Chicken shawarma sandwich with humus and tubule. She thought it was outstanding. Both our plates were cleaned. The server, Jaz, was outstanding as well. She was right there anytime we needed anything, and they were busy. We both would highly recommend eating here.
This place was awesome. Our server was so pleasant and helpful.The wonderful variety of food was tasty and delicious with just the right spices. It was clean and spacious so not sitting on top of other patrons. The hummus was the best I've ever tasted and, bonus, there's a market next door to buy it and other wonderful Mediterranean goodies.I may have found my new favorite place!
Aside from the occasional server issues, like many restuarants having staffing issues, we've been going to N&J for years and love the place. We've only had one meal that wasn't perfect, chewy chicken kbobs, but the food is always good.
I wanted to share about this restaurant I found in a public restroom. I'm only joking. No public restroom has ever been as bad as N&Js. The waitstaff lack common manners. The food is slightly better only because it wasn't regurgitated a second time, or at least that's what it tasted like. Truly awful experience. My advice, dine in Hell first with Lucifer as a dinner date. It would be a much better experience.
Consistently good food, authentic without apology, the real Mediterranean restaurant. So much better than Meddys, too much old brown lettuce there and high price. N&J is family owned and up to a year ago one of the owners would visit tables and ensure all was good. The tabouli and greek salad are my favorites.
N&J never disappoints. I love their hummus, falafel wraps, spinach pies, and dolmades. Service is always friendly and fast. Last week they had a vegan chicken shawarma on special and it was fantastic! I hope they add it to the regular menu.
Delicious food good service. The waitress was nice and polite. I had the lamb gyro and hummus and pita both were very good. Prices were decent.
Love, love, love this restaurant! The best lamb, the pita bread is amazing! They even have take home hummus & groceries for making your favorite Mediterranean dishes. Unique gift ideas too. Pistachio baklava is a terrific dessert too! Must try! Enjoy!
Had lunch here while in Wichita, KS. Service was decent compared food was great. Loved the feta hamburger that was the special of the day. The tabbouleh was excellent too. Worth a stop in.
