Huge portions for the money. There were probably enough noodles there for 3 meals per dish for me. My only mild complaint about the shrimp noodle dish is that there was way more noodles than anything else. I get shrimp is expensive, (they still threw in probably 8 shrimp, which is a fair amount), but I think it should have more of the veggies in it, too, to make up for the lack of meat. After the shrimp was gone it was mostly noodles. But the food was great, very tasty, and service was excellent, too. I will definitely be back.
Our first time here: Loved the yakisoba noodles. My wife loved the chicken, and particularly liked the garlic fried rice. It's like a quicker version of what we get at Sumo, she says. Not the nicest interior, but you're not here for that, you're here for the food! I ordered at the counter and got takeout. The white woman at the front was very kind and helpful when I had many questions. Will eat here again. Portions were plentiful.
Fabulous food and insane large portions! Plus the staff was great! This was the leftovers after I ate!!
I recommend this restaurant for their food. However, they really need a phone and they need to post the number. We had a problem with an online order and had no way to contact the restaurant. It was quite frustrating. Not sure I’ll use their online system again.
Excellent customer service and great food! Will definitely recommend to people
The portions were immense, dumplings, crab rangoon and fried rice were all great. The atmosphere was super nice and their playlist was impeccable. The murals on the walls were really cool.
Great place. Food is tasty and let me tell ya. You get your moneys worth! With all the inflation going on. I had the crispy volcano chicken and my other half had the noodles. We also got the crab Rangoon. Cost was around $31. The left overs will feed us for days
Heavily relies on sauce for flavor. My rice was so oily it didn't taste like anything. Appreciate being able to buy all the sauces to try. The egg rolls were solid. Yum yum is similar to bang bang.
I was honestly really torn on recommending or not. I went to the location on N. Maize Rd. and I can honestly say both my husband and I thought the food tasted really good. Unfortunately, we had 2 different issues.First I tried to order chicken fried rice with the egg roll combo (includes 2 egg rolls and a drink). I'm not sure if it was somebody brand new running the register or what but he just could not understand what I wanted. After repeating myself a couple times and him repeating something completely different back to me, I repeated that I wanted fried rice with chicken and the egg roll combo and pointed to the menu where it said egg roll combo and I thought we had finally gotten it, I was wrong. When we got our food my husband, who just ordered chicken fried rice (no combo), got chicken fried rice. I got house fried rice with no meat. Not a big deal but just frustrating. Then a few bites into my meal, I noticed somebody else's hair in my food. At this point I was just over it and my husband and I left.I hope it's just the fact that they're newly open and still trying to get into the hang of things because the food is really good and I'd like to try them again, unfortunately, it won't be for a while. Hopefully the east side location is better.
HOLY SH**!!! Amazing. This place smelled like pure garlic from the outside. If you don't know let me be the first to tell you that's a great sign. Can we talk about the portions? Gigantic. Humongous. Gargantuan. Massive. These are feed the homeless portions. These are breakfast lunch and dinner portions. Serving size feeds at least 3 adults no joke. The worst part is that the flavors are so good you won't be able to stop eating and you won't want to share. Very chill atmosphere and the radio station played only bops. Need one closer to the south side please. New go to for some top notch Japanese food. A+ 5 stars home run gold medal I just want more more more.
