We had an excellent lunch here. The menu is incredibly healthy and mostly vegan friendly. The staff were kind, responsive, and quick to take orders and get food out on time. The black bean burger has a fair spice level, as well as being incredibly flavorful. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat, that won't kill your wallet, while being enjoyable, this is your place.

This is not a Chinese nor Asian eatery as I thought it would be. They are on the healthier side menu. Do not expect your general tso chicken or fried rice or pad Thai. This is almost vegan very healthy items. No regular sodas, but the one they make there etc. With that said, their service is superb and friendly. Easy plaza parking. Clean place and fresh ambiance. Cauliflower bites were perfect! Their burgers looked good. Might be short on value for what I looked for, but for their type of menu, I'd say it actually looked like good value.

We could not have had a better experience at this wonderful gem. We had a party of about 15 ladies for a going away dinner. The organizer can't have gluten and almost never gets to eat out. They were extremely careful and conscientious, checking every detail. She was so excited to be able to go to a nice restaurant where she could feel at ease. The staff was the sweetest, we got our meals quickly, everyone raved about their food. They have allergy friendly and vegan options. What a great place!

Delicious meal and super fresh juice!I ordered takeout and was not disappointed. The freshness of my salad and black bean burger was amazing. I really enjoyed how my juice was made right in front of me.Customer service was also incredible. The woman making my juice was so pleasant!

Fantastic food for people with sensitivies and allergies, as well as those who don't! I have an immune system disorder (severe Rheumatoid Arthritis) that causes my body's immune system to attack its' own nervous system and soft tissue, including my gastro-intestinal system - which causes constant inflammation, making any inflammation-causing foods a no go for me (particularly gluten, dairy, and many commonly-used cooking oils), as the additional swelling can cause my digestive system to become completely unable to move/process food.(Edit - A big oof here, on my part not on the establishment; Lotus Leaf cooks many of their foods in sunflower/safflower oil, which I'd never tried before and should have looked up first. It's another oil overly-rich in Omega-6, which did cause me some GI pain/upset after eating. This is not a ding on the café, I should have double-checked, but I do recommend they evaluate switching to flaxseed or avocado oil [not coconut, as it is extremely high in saturated fat], which have better Omega-3/6 balance and cause less inflammation/irritation in the GI tract.)First, the staff: They were all very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about their ingredients and cook methods. All menu items were clearly marked with vegan, gf and allergen warnings. That level of knowledge and confidence in their product is always a good sign. Places with less knowledgeable staff tend to serve "gluten-free" or "dairy-free" food with questionable ingredients, and I find those are the places that cause unwanted surprises. As a result, I don't eat out much for fear of not even being able to finish my meal before having to run to the bathroom to get sick.I will gladly be returning to Lotus Leaf, because I am now certain it is one if the few places I can eat at with full confidence that their food will not make me ill. My wife and I are extremely excited to have found this place.Next, the food: I ordered the Pisces Piato (almond-crusted cod), which comes with a curry aioli, sweet potato chips, and an apple/cranberry/almond slaw. The fish was perfectly cooked, the crust immaculate and not heavy with oil, and the curry aioli was a great compliment to the more tame flavor of the fish's crust. Each bite had the perfect amount of crunch, while the fish inside was still very tender and flakey. The sweet potato chips were pretty good, and cooked in a lighter oil that made them easy on my stomach. The only "downside" was the slaw, and the vinaigrette. Not because they weren't good (they were just fine), but because I wish they'd come on a separate plate so that the vinaigrette didn't soak the cod and chips. Still, a minor complaint, I'll just have to remember to eat that last next time. All together, the flavors were very good - if a bit mild. The salt and vinegar were well balanced, but I felt like the plate needed some heat, whether in the crust of the fish, the aioli or the salad. The aioli could have used more curry flavor, and I found myself craving some kind of herbaceousness so much that I was combining my salad bites with my fish, which honestly only helped a little. The food was well above-par overall, just not very aggressively seasoned/spiced, and that's something that is perfectly reasonable for a place balancing foods that support such a wide array of sensitivities, allergies and preferences. The prices and portions were fantastic (you get plenty of bang for your buck) and the restaurant was clean, bright and sanitary. To sum it all up, Lotus Leaf Cafe is an A+ dining experience for lunch (or a light dinner), especially in a city with very few comparables in terms of food quality/safety. And, I didn't even get to tell you about my wife's food (the "Average Tom," which she enjoyed) or our dessert (gluten-free, dairy-free cheesecake!). Guess you'll have to stop by yourself, so you can try everything I forgot to mention.

Amelia our server was absolutely the sweetest and most efficient server ever..!! The food was superb.! Everything was perfect..I'd recommend this place 7 days a wk.thank you

Best ever! Love this place!!! I have celiacs disease and have never had an issue here. Vegan queso is AMAZIN! Mean green black been and fried cauliflower are also AMAZING!

Serving staff here is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. The bathrooms are kept clean, and there's good seating options both indoors and outside.
