I had the 3 piece chicken dinner #6 ? My friend had the Coconut Shrimp dinner she said it was very good and they were a little small in size. Mine was tasty also with plenty of fries and we both received a large tray of fresh Coleslaw. Had to ring that bell on the way out. They have a fine crew there.
The people working are pretty awesome and are on their jobs. The food was great I mean it's ljs but it was actually really good. Best I've had in YEARS.
Around 8:20 pm. First, the guy in the drive was rude and pushy. After we asked for a minute, figured out what we wanted we proceeded to tell him. Again, he was rude with his response. I thought ok, well maybe he was having a bad day. We pull up to the drive and the lady was short with her response and RUDE! It wasn’t until we got home did I decide to leave a review . We had a long wait and the only thing that was hot was the shrimp, the hush puppies were undercooked and soggy, the fish tacos were cold, and the chicken was soggy. With the wait we had, they could have took the time to prepare all the food so it was hot and a smile with courtesy, seeing all the reviews it seems like this location struggles with rude staff and either under cooked or over cooked food. We will not be returning.
Happy bunch of big'ol boys helping y'all here, they've got Good attitudes too.It's not like coastal fish, my fav, but satisfied my craving. They clean the tables and counters right away too. Store closing hours on web is evidently wrong.
This location seems okay, staff is pretty friendly most of the time. Food always comes hot and fresh for me. They randomly close the lobby often though which is pretty annoying so I go elsewhere when the lobby is closed.
There are only 3 LJS stores left in the Wichita area. This one was really good. My food was fresh & hot. I didn't have an exceptionally long wait time. All in all, a good experience.
I will never eat at LJS ever again. First of all, the employees were incredibly polite, hence the reason for the 2 stars. I placed & paid for my order online, yet when I got there they hadn't pulled it from the register that I guess all online orders go through, but an employee pulled it right when I told her it was an online order. The food was just so greasy and the fish was luke warm by the time I got it home. I ate 1 1/2 pieces of chicken and one piece of fish. The fries were good, the hush puppies excellent as was the cole slaw. I don't know the system they use, but I'm pretty sure that the fish and chicken weren't fried fresh. Possibly pulled from a heat lamp?So you lost 4 stars for the food, but gained back 1 star for the employees courtesy, = 2 stars overall
The help are great & nice, over the top!! The food is good. I do wish they had baked potatoes or scalloped potatoes; for something different. And maybe fried okra!
I really love long John's food and we drive 30 miles to get it. Something has changed at this restaurant, the food was cold, the place was dirty, the service was awful. Last week we decided to try it again but a very rude employee said we are not serving here today because our computers are down unless you want frozen fish. It's always something with this restaurant on Pawnee now. The management before was great but here I'm assuming management changed because it all sucks now.
We ordered thur doordash got 2 of the 2 fish and fries and hush puppys combo with lrg drinks and 4 extra fish the fries wasn't cooked all the way thur and the batter for the fish seemed salter than usally you guys use too be my go too for fish but i think i'm not ordering from you anymore.
