Loved everything about our visit. Super friendly staff, and our food was wonderful! I had the shepherds pie and it was top notch. My son had the meatloaf dinner and it was super tasty. My husband had the Monte Christo omelet and he said it was good, but he'd try something else if we came back. I was impressed with everything during our visit. We will eat here again next time we are in town.
This is the single best place to eat in Wichita. I've searched the whole country for a perfect eggs Benedict (not an exaggeration, unfortunately) and I finally found it here. The staff go above and beyond, it's always clean, and the food is the best in the city. Their cinnamon rolls are clearly home made and huge - and delicious! The waitresses are the best at what they do and all around great people. This is our regular eat out destination now!
This place was awesome! Breakfast for lunch one of our favorite things to do. Food was great, service was fantastic, friendly waitress that shared some of their history. Better be hungry or plan to take some home. We just happened to be traveling through and would most definitely stop here again! Very good.Highly recommend Jimmie's Diner
Most awful breakfast ever. Pecan waffle was hard as a rock. Syrup was cold and cheap. French toast hard and tasteless. The egg was over cooked. I should have sent the food back and left. A waste of time and money. Who doesn’t know how to cook a waffle or French toast.

Absolutely love Jimmie's Diner! The service here is always incredible, every server is there to help and guarantee amazing service, it shows! Don't get me started on the food! Everything is always so fresh and so well prepared, the people in the kitchen are incredible! I had a sandwich and fries and it was almost too hot to eat! Again, the service is amazingly fast. Regardless of what you order, it is always guaranteed fresh and perfect. Not super expensive either! Love this place and can't wait to come back!
Ordered online and when we went to pick it up they tried to say they did not get our order. Then we showed them the confirmation number from our order. They kept asking if it was for GrubHub, no, we ordered directly from the website. Then they tried to say it was unpaid, so we again showed the confirmation we paid with a credit card. I could understand if they were busy, but they were not. About 5 employees were standing around talking to each other. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to cook our food. They didn't even comp our meal, give a discount, ir seem apologetic. Very disappointing visit.
Make a long story short. Ordered a chicken friend chicken platter. The chicken was burnt. The container had holes. The Dinner roll was not fresh and hard at the bottom.
I've been eating here since I was a little boy. Though it has changed a slight bit, here and there, it has generally stayed the same throughout the years. Quite a nostalgic feel, every time I come here. No matter the year, and no matter how long it's been (I live out of state), they always have great food (though I usually do breakfast!). If you've never been here, you should definitely try it out, to get thag authentic, midwest Diner feel!
The food is always really good and consistent. However my recent visit is what made me decide to leave a review. The service I received when I came in that day was beyond exceptional! The waitress was so attentive, but not in an annoying over the top way. She was friendly and on top of everything! The manager came by to see how my meal was and topped off my water another time. My waitress was phenomenal, but the team work made the experience even better. Best service I've had in years!
